Quarantine- a time to eat as much food as possible. Our household is split at the seams for donuts because one of us is gluten free (spoiler alert, itâs me). I found Kettle on google then was thrilled to see delivery on Postmates. I called them to see what kind of gluten free donuts they had left, and the person that answered was so upbeat and kind. Told me that there was apple & chocolate left. I bought them all. Within 30 minutes donuts were left at the front door. We obviously wiped the box with Clorox wipes (you know, the times) and we dug in. Heres what we learned Glazed Donut 6/10 - not the best weâve ever had but good texture. Madison thought it was a little dry. Christina did not. They did however, agree on the 6/10. Chocolate Long John 8/10 - buttery af and good eats for sure. But the chocolate was not the BEST chocolate Madison and Christina have ever had. Still, itâs gone. Eaten with pleasure. Croissant Cinnamon Donut 10/10 - one word: wow. âThis is like eating a perfectly cooked churro filled with that cream that they fill churros with.â Exact quote from Madison. Christina couldnât speak after eating. Just rated a 10/10. Highly recommend. GLUTEN FREE DONUTS: If youâre gluten free, get any you can. The chocolate one tasted like a little Debbie cake but better. The texture was to die for. I loved every second. I wonât even let Madison and christina try the second apple one I got. Itâs incredible. Filled with perfectly cooked tiny apples.

Read moreTried these at the end of the day but the donuts were still amazing. Canât imagine how much better they are in the morning.
Their donut base is light, airy, yeasty and not too dense. Itâs just what a donut should be. That comes through with their classic glazed donut.
Their fritters were good but didnât stand out. The apple fritter had big chunks of apple filling but the glaze for some reason was slightly too sweet for me (maybe it just has too much of it?). I preferred the blueberry part of the blueberry/lemon fritter but not sure I enjoyed both.
On the other hand, the blueberry jelly stuffed lemon donut was amazing and the lemon complimented the sweet jam well. Only complaint is I wish the lemon glaze was more lemony/sour and less sweet.
My faves though were the vegan donuts. They have more of a texture and density of an Entenmann donut but obviously a million times better. Couldnât tell they were vegan at all. I had the cinnamon flavor and it was incredibly moist and flavorful and not overly sweet.
Would highly recommend this place. Service was...
Read moreGreat local stop for doughnuts and coffee thatâs a step up from your typical yum yum or California doughnuts. Their specialty items are tasty and they make a decent latte. The staff there are also incredibly friendly and attentive. We love coming here as a local weekend stop for a little something sweet.
I will say however, if you are something of a a doughnut connoisseur you may by a little let down. Donât get me wrong, these are good doughnuts. But there are small things - like their buttermilk doughnuts being a bit more oily as opposed to having that light crunch on the outside and softness on the inside. And their plain glazed are ever so slightly chewier than they are soft (maybe just a little stale? I canât quite put my finger on it).
All in all itâs a fun friendly place to grab a treat, but if youâre seeking the truly gourmet experience, I think this place falls...
