I was gifted an hour massage for a special day and I was really looking forward to some relaxation, but instead I received the complete opposite and left feeling angry. My appointment was scheduled for 2oclock and I got there 15 mins earlier to fill out the necessary forms since it’s been awhile since I was last at a Hand and Stone, while filing out my forms I left them know I was a few weeks pregnant, and I requested a quiet service. I anxiously waited for my service provider because my last experience wasn’t good and I was worried I was going to receive the same thing. This time around my service provider finally came to get me past 2, and we spoke for a few mins where I told her I was just a couple weeks pregnant so I was really excited to get a massage. She told she was going to talk to her coworkers because she wasn’t sure if she should provide me this but assured me it wasn’t because she “didn’t want to” she left and came back maybe 10-15 mins later telling me she will provide me a “massage” but that it would be merely her lightly caressing my skin as she was worried she would induce “labor” I told her i’ve never had complications before and requested it be more than that to which she denied. I should have simply rescheduled there but I was excited to get the massage done on this specific day so I chose to stay and see how it went, which was a mistake. She left the room for me to undress and by the time she came back the time was already 2:30pm, she started to provide the light caressing massage, but then immediately started talking to me about how her first pregnancies were, even her children’s names, the age difference between her kids and her grandkids, how she settled on her kids names and everything in between. the entirety of my service provided I was hearing about my service providers personal life and was provided quite literally no relaxation. If that wasn’t bad enough I could feel her body pressing up against me whenever she bent over. The entirety of this service lasted merely 30 mins and it was definitely not worth it. I felt extremely angered for multiple reasons but one being I felt the person she gifted me this massage was also jipped out of their money. I’m a service provider myself and I could not believe the amount of unprofessionalism I was shown. I called the store a couple days later to speak with a manager but was told he was out of the store and that he could give me a call back to which I never received, I also left a more brief message on their website and requested someone reach out but that also hasn’t happened. Regardless I am extremely unsatisfied and still kind of angry and disappointed this was my...
Read moreSo my husband bought me a membership at Hand and Stone of Easton, Pa a few years ago. Learning that I could get a massage or a facial was very exciting. I’ve never had a facial before I started coming here so I really didn’t know what to expect. Luckily, I got the most amazing aesthetician, Jillian B. She is so welcoming, calming, and kind not to mention extremely knowledgeable and very helpful when it comes to picking the correct products for my skin and addressing any concerns that I have. I have had so many facials from Jillian B. and I trust her so much that sometimes I just come in and say you look at my skin and whatever you think I need. All of her recommendations were spot on. She’s not one of those people that will push products on you that you don’t need. But she will take the time to talk through your concerns with you and troubleshoot what you’re trying to achieve while recommending the perfect products you need. I also love the fact that no matter how badly I feel about the condition of my skin whether I’m too oily or too dry or I have a few breakouts she never makes me feel like it’s my fault and always compliments me. I know for me personally, I’m always my own worst critic, and I don’t feel embarrassed about my skin when I am there. And afterwards? My skin is glowing! My skin feels smoother and tighter. It’s not puffy. My wrinkles seem to be less and I’m left with an all-around dewey, glowing face! My friend and I actually have an inside joke every time we get a facial from Jillian B., we say we have dolphin skin, because our faces feel that amazing. On a side note, I have tried other facialists at this location. While they are good as well, I prefer Jillian B. I have also recommended other friends to her that have had other facials before and they have the same experience as me. We are so lucky Jillian B. works at Hand and Stone of Easton! She definitely deserves a raise! She is the reason I continue to come back every month. I would recommend Jillian B. every single time if you want not only an amazing facial, but a wonderful relaxing...
Read moreUpdate: 3 star to 5 star I was given 2 gift cards (each for a 50-minute massage or signature facial). When I initially called to make an appointment for a massage I was told that I could use both gift cards to schedule a 90 minute massage and was reminded to bring both of the cards in the day of my appointment, which I did. Upon entering Hand and Stone massage, I was greeted by staff and completed the necessary paperwork online. Parker came out at my designated time and greeted me. He asked if there were any areas that I would like him to focus on (upper and lower back and shoulder area). The massage was great, and Parker targeted the areas. At the end when it was time to check out, I was told that only one gift card would cover the massage and I had to pay an additional $40.00 to cover the additional time past the 50 minute mark. I was stunned but paid, I gave Parker a $20.00 cash tip (well deserved). I am not sure if I will return to use the remaining gift card, I felt as if I was deceived. Update: I reached out to Hand and Stone and spoke to Ryan (Manager) he resolved the issue and did so in a professional and...
