WuJu Korean BBQ — Restaurant in Lynnwood

We came into town and we were very interested in doing Korean barbecue. It's one of my go-tos when in the right city, and Seattle definitely is such a city.

We actually went to a different Korean barbecue that had a better rating, but it was completely full and reserved out. They kindly it told us to come back another night. I was bummed.

So eventually this place. There is a little wait, but it was okay, maybe 15 minutes.

The place is a little bit small, and feels a little worn out, but they have full hoods for your own cook at the table experience. It's truthfully the only way to do Korean barbecue. So that part was perfect.

We had a group of four hungry men and boys, so we ordered before person meal. A little pricey, but we figured it was just simpler. And wow, do they serve you plenty of food. There was more than left meat and then some for two grown man, and two starving football players who had played ball all day long. That's a good sign.

The ladies were way busy and that's the only downside of the location is the service. They're just understaffed. I think a lot of places are like that. They probably get a five star or at least the four and a half, but we had to wait a lot for service, and the lady spilled sauce on my pants.

At any rate, it's a good mom and pop location. I always say support the local guy if if you can. My final say is when I go back? The answer is yes. But I would go early so I don't have to wait for a table and the staff is not so busy.

Went here for dinner Saturday night. We arrived early before prime dinner time around 5:15 and so there was still plenty of seating. By the time we finished eating, the place was packed and there was already some people waiting for a seat.

This place has quite a large menu, so when you arrive, they ask you if you want to do BBQ grill or you just want to eat from their menu. We opted for the grill.

Food: We only ordered a few, since we didn't have go with a large group. We ordered their 2 people special combo which includes a few cut of meat. Beef slices was good, marinated chicken was good too actually, marinated pork was good too. Their pork belly was underwhelming and their marinated beef brisket was not as tender as we expected. Banchan was good. Portion sizes was good too.

Service: This is where this place shines. Service was very good. They came by often to check if we needed refills on side dishes, water/tea. They were not stingy at all with those side dishes and keep on replenishing them. If you are new to kbbq grilling, I'm sure they can help with cooking too.

Atmosphere was good too. There was easy parking for us and also I like how the table has large vent hood above to get the smoke.

Overall, I would still recommend coming here if you are craving kbbq and you are looking for options around the alderwood mall area! We were so hungry at the time that we forgot to...

We went on a quiet Wednesday evening and was promptly greeted and seated. Interior looks pretty young with neon signs and postera/traditional korean decor. We ordered 3 appetizers: corn cheese, spicy rice cakes and kimchi pancake! I think the kimchi pancake was definitely my favorite great flavor and we'll cooked. We ordered the combo E which serves 4 people but. Would easily be for 5-6 depending on how hungry people are. It came with both marinated pork/beef, pork belly, beef brisket, LA Galbi and sirloin. It was a lot more than I was expecting and honestly was perfect amount of food for 7 hungry guys! I was pleasantly surprised with the meat quality. The restaurant is not all you can eat, I was expecting it to not be portioned well, but it was!

All on all: 3 apps, and kbbq that's "supposed" to serve 4 was more than enough for 7 hungry young dudes and meat quality was great! We spent about $34 each! I'm surprised they don't have more guests. I definitely recommend this spot over Baekjeong if you don't wanna wait or pay way too much. Even better than Arirang since the quality isn't that great because of the ayce aspect.

Overall, great clean environment, the service was great, they even helped cooked all the meat and portioned it for us and refilled our side dishes promptly! Come check...
