Hanari Cafe Sushi.Ramen &Wok — Restaurant in Lynnwood

NEVER coming back. You guys are disgusting. I ate here with my bf, the food was alright but what bothered me is the fact that we forgot our packed leftovers (it wasn’t much it was a little of fried rice and a very tiny portion of the ramen soup that we decided to take it so I could try it because I had eaten a different ramen soup) we didn’t realize we left the food until halfway off the restaurant. We stopped by an hour later on our way home to pick it up in case they still have it. When I went in the restaurant and told a waitress that welcomed me that I left the food there she turned to checked and I said “if you guys threw it away, it’s OK” and I noticed she looked at one guy sitting there and he laughed and then she leans down to grab something and she look like searching inside something (like the trash) and I saw the 2 food containers on her hand then she started cleaning them and went to the kitchen, came back with a bag, continue to clean more the containers and bagged it,( when I left them at the table, they were clean, there was no food on them or anything. ) then the waitress that had served me earlier came out and told me that she had tried to look for me when she realized I left the food. I am 100% sure that the other waitress took the food out of the garbage and the fact she hand it to me is DISGUSTING, She could have simple said I’m sorry we threw it away. That would have been better than having the gesture of TAKING IT OUT OF THE GARBAGE AND HANDED TO ME , It just makes me think what others things they can do and the contamination. As soon as I got in the car I told my boyfriend, “they took it out of the garbage let’s throw it away” and when driving out of the parking lot we saw the garbage disposal and threw it in there. First and last time eating there!! You guys...

Tl:dr I hope they learn and seek to improve, but as of today, their sushi is way below subpar.

Oh where to begin. We ordered a chirashi and a deluxe sushi and paid $69. They gave us multiples of ONLY the cheapest type of fish (salmon, regular frozen maguro tuna, albacore tuna, super white tuna, red snapper, imitation crab, tamago). Oh wait, there was one piece of hamachi.

Also, I can usually tolerate most sushi rice, but my goodness, this was just horrible. I had a single bite and couldn't eat any more. A big part of the chirashi is the sushi rice! You can tell the ingredients were there in the "sushi rice" but the ratios were not even close.

There's much more to say like the chirashi not having a shiso leaf or the long cut daicon, but I'll stop here.

I really hope they do seek to improve. Maybe I'll check them out again later, but I'm beyond disappointed with today's experience and probably won't be back...

Two of us, both ordered the SAME THING, ramen. Even the same ramen. Still, they showed up about 7 minutes apart. Seriously??! And the waitress asked me if I wanted to try some black garlic, sure why not, without telling me it was an extra charge. UNACCEPTABLE! (Turns out it wasn't black garlic, the fermented kind at all, it was black garlic oil, cheaper and not even the same thing but yes, used a lot in ramen joints like this one).

So the food IS pretty good, not the best but decent. However, I DO NOT LIKE TO BE PLAYED LIKE THAT and it is NEVER okay to deliver the meals separately like that especially when they are the SAME THING!

AWKWARD in the extreme and a complete "buzz kill."

We won't be back, they should not be this way and we will find somewhere else to get ramen.
