Nice little garden in Lyons. Directions once in Lyons aren't the best, but not too far off the mark. As others mention, park along Prospect or Fourth. Trail is tricky to find at first. Fortunately, during my visit there was a roll-off dumpster easily seen from street and trail was to right of it.
Trail to garden is part of a larger park trail system that runs along St. Vrain river. After walking through gardens I walked along part of the larger trail. I have balance issues, but had no problem walking on the well maintained trails in the garden and along the river.
Lots of people walking their dogs (lots of signs about being on leash), runners, families with little ones and strollers... pretty much a well used path.
