Marshall's Fudge and Chocolate Company — Attraction in Mackinaw Township

Great homemade fudge with lots of varieties! Love the salt water taffy eith many varieties also and their large assortment of candy! We went to the local lumberjack show and my daughter was selected from audience to participate and as a reward she got a certificate for a free 1/2 slice fudge from Marshall's. That's what got us in the door and I couldn't be more thankful for that because we got a ton a fudge!! I wanted authentic homemade Mackinaw Fudge. We tried Saunders when on the Island and it was terribly disappointing and very old. Marshall's was the exact opposite in every way. Friendly staff, supportive of kids and large families, very patient while we made our various purchases. Enjoyed watching them make candied apples. We got penny souvenir for the memories but the machine ate our penny. A very nice gentleman gave us the 2 bridge pennies for free and wouldn't take the 50 cents for making the penny. Last but certainly not least, they are 3rd generation family owned Mackinaw fudge makers! Opened year round!! I love supporting local and this will be our 1st Mackinaw stop next year!...

Very disappointed. We drove 4 hours one way just to get fudge from here. We purchased 4 kinds, lemon, choco mint, penuche and triple chip. The triple chip was a gift and when they went to try it today it was rock hard! Had to use a metal knife to chip bits off of it. We have never had fudge like this from here after going here for over 40 years. How embarrassing to give it as a gift after telling them this was the best fudge you can get. The penuche was also dry and crumbly. The other two where great. I will now think twice about making the trip out of the way to go here.

*update- I was contacted by Marshalls Fudge. They sent replacement fudge that was up to the standards I had always had from them in the past. I will try them again next time I get to Mackinaw City but I still will not make the 4 hour drive one way just to get...

Absolutely my wife's favor fudge shop when we go to Mackinaw City they have all her favorite treats there from her favorite fudge which always have a deal going to her chocolate covered Strawberries they are a must try they have the best chocolate and fudge is always fresh never dried out or hard like some places. She also gets chocolate covered prezals and other candy's big selection and they have a variety of the jelly belly jelly beans you can mix them all in one bag.They have candy apples that are also good.If you go to Mackinaw City stop here and by your fudge you won't be disappointed you will go...
