I have never left a review anywhere on Google in my life, the way I was treated in this Staples absolutely ruined my experience returning to staples from not being in one for years. Me and my girlfriend came in to find me an art book and paint pens to help me stay busy with a healthy Hobby. As I was browsing I was awed with the amount of products that I didn’t recall staples having years ago. So being an adult I compare my excitement like a kid in a candy shop enjoying the cool finds that I was extremely indecisive on what I was choosing to finalize my purchase. When I tell you this Male Employee followed me to every Aisle, he had literally been 3-5 feet from me and my partner everywhere we went and every time I picked something up to look at, he felt the need to walkie into his headset to inform his staff on everything I was picking up. The fact that I felt like I had to physically pull my $100+ dollars in $20’s to get him to notice I had money to pay and I wasn’t there just stealing, honestly sickens me. But you want to know what the worst part is?, That even him seeing I had plenty of money to purchase my items, he still chose to continue Harassing me and my partner asking us every 2 minutes if we are good because we have been supposedly looking around for “to long”. I’m sorry but i didn’t realize there was a Limit on how long I was allowed to shop for? I mean as long as it was within the stores open hours I didn’t think it mattered?
Absolutely shattered my excitement and ruined my experience ever wanting to return to another staples. I’m extremely upset to had seen my girlfriend teared up in the Car because she felt so disrespected and discriminated against.

I was looking for a charger for my laptop and when they didn't have it in stock I decided to look around see if I could find anything else I might want to purchase, two different employees followed me around and actually stood about 5 feet behind me every where I went and stared straight at my back when I would stop to browse and if they felt I had been in one place to long they would start clearing their throats until I noticed and moved. About 5 minutes from when I walked in the manager actually came up to me and said "well you been thru half the store do u actually need anything or are u done here" I said "Im doing nothing wrong I don't know why you are bothering me" "you just don't look like the kind of person who could afford the things you are looking at " I got so mad and just hurt about his obvious racism (I'm mexican) and stereotyping that I just threw my hands up and walked out. I will be calling corporate and asking for the managers removal I can't believe I was just so openly and unapologetically judged and belittled. I recently visited the Staples location at 105 Mall Way, WA, to drop off a package around 2:45 PM on Thursday, August 15th, 2024. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I encountered a staff member at the drop-off counter who refused to accept my package, claiming there was no more room on the designated table. She directed to find another location to leave my package. This was incredibly frustrating, especially things carried in. As a customer, I expect a business to follow through on the services they advertise. If a store is designated as a drop-off location, it should be prepared to accommodate packages or at least have a clear system in place when capacity is reached. It would be helpful if Staples could post a sign indicating any limitations for package drop-offs, such as size or quantity restrictions, to prevent confusion and inconvenience. Overall, this experience has left me questioning the reliability of using Staples as a drop-off point. I hope the management can address this issue to prevent similar situations for other customers...
