In the past year we found that our interest in the RC "World" was growing and so this was a new journey we were starting out on. We were a little overwhelmed with trying to purchase vehicles online and didn't really know what kind of batteries and chargers we needed. We felt we found a good, fair price online but still wondering if we could get generic batteries to save some money but wanted to ask someone that might be able to give us some direction. We stepped into this little shop and would have to say we felt as though we entered a step back in time, the instant we opened the door, with all the Friendly, Pleasant and Super Helpful and Knowledgeable Staff! Here we found a very trustworthy wealth of information and felt very comfortable asking any question we wanted to regarding RC Vehicles. They respected our "newness" to this sport and gave us so much time and support in our questions that we ended up purchasing everything from them. They actually saved us money in the long run by steering us in the right direction and staying away from mistakes we may have made in not understanding some of the ins-and-outs of RCs. They will be our one and only "go to" for all of our RC questions and needs. Their pricing is very good, fair and spot on! We are So Happy we found you J&S Rc Hobbies Plus! Thank you so much for starting us out a good path and helping introduce us to the very exciting, fun sport-hobbie...
Read moreWhat else can I say. J&S Hobbies are great! They almost always have what u r looking for, unless u come in looking for something from 1967 that hasnât been in production since then, but if they donât have it, theyâll definitely have an idea of what u might be able to do.
Their shop is soooo small, but only because they have everything u are looking for. Need an RC car or truck, they have it. Looking for a RC boat.. they have it. If they donât, they will order one. Itâs rare they donât have the RC or part I need.
With traditional stores, u get to walk-through, maybe window shop a bit. U donât really get to do that here (not that they havenât been trying to move) but honestly it doesnât feel to much like that because they know their inventory (like a million things) and within moments they are like âhere ya goâ and boom.. there is the driveshafts Iâve been looking for or the pinion and spur gear that I just stripped.
One thing I know is true. They absolutely love the industry and have well over 100 years of knowledge between this family owned/operated store. In this part of Washington state, we are incredibly lucky to have them cause there isnât much around in the form of hobby shops in...
Read moreI used to race and bash hobby grade rc cars when I was younger. I had a 1:16th scale mini revo that I got as a gift a few years ago, after wrapping it around a pole and snapping the chassis and most of the rear suspension components, I put it away and didn't pick it back up until about a week ago. I had since moved to the area and always thought it was cool to see there was still an RC Hobby store around with a dirt track (they seem to be very rare these days, and I didn't have access to one when I was younger). After driving past the place for 2 years, I finally decided to bring my mini revo in and see if they had the parts in stock to fix it up. To my surprise they had everything I needed and then some! The staff was extremely helpful and I can't wait to use the track. They helped me get back into the hobby and I couldn't be more pleased. It will be hard to stick with my mini revo now that I have a track to visit, but I know where I will source my next...
