This theater is a terrific bargain. Depending on what movie you're watching, you only pay for one ... but get to hear two... or even three if you're really lucky!
Most of the screens have a seam right down the middle -- highly visible in bright scenes.
The popcorn is usually room temperature and chewy. So a little goes a long long way.
The staff are frequently poorly trained. I recently presented my Regal card at the ticket booth where the grump guy told me that I had earned a free popcorn. I went to the snack bar and they didn't have a clue. They got the manager to help but she was clueless as well. I ended up paying for the small popcorn... something like $4.95 !!!! as I felt badly for the young girl who had but some extra artificial imitation butter-like (not) oil on the popcorn.
The other thing I like about this theater is they know how hectic our lives can be. So if you're running late... never worry!! There's at LEAST 20 minutes of advertising BEFORE the coming attractions roll. 7 pm show and it's 720? No worries... you'll be...
Read moreI never leave reviews, however, I made an exception because this place should be shut down for health hazards. I hadn’t been here in years and loved it when I was a kid, 30 years ago. Everything is still the exact same. We wanted to go to this regal for its nostalgic look and feel. When we entered the theater the smell of mold/mustiness were overwhelming. I am someone with high sensitivity to mold. I could feel my body react almost immediately. And as of today, my child woke up with a full body rash. Specifically on the back of her legs where her legs contacted the seat. I know there’s no way to truly know the cause but I find it ironic that this happens overnight after the trip to this movie theater. Shame on regal for not having this theater up to code for health safety. Truly disappointing and hopefully they can pay attention to this matter and fix this problem. You are poisoning...
Read moreI saw my last movie at this theater last night (1/11/18). We were in Theater 3 for DARKEST HOUR. At several critical points in what should have been a marvelous film --scenes with tense silence -- we can hear the soundtrack from theater 2 for Paddington 2 come flying in plain as day. Not like a TV in the next room... but right there. COMPLETELY spoiled the effect. There may have been additional sounds from theater 4 -- or across the hall -- anything's possible in this facility.
I went to the lobby at one of these moments, in part hoping to speak with someone, and maybe some popcorn. At 8 pm the lobby was totally deserted, the snack bar darkened and closed up like it was an off season beach resort.
If anyone reads these I hope you are paying attention. We'd like our money back. And...
