Mattress Warehouse of Matthews — Attraction in Matthews

05/10/2025... I went to this Mattress Warehouse of Matthew's in search of a new Queen sized mattress and box spring. As soon as I opened the door it was this sweet lady that greeted me and made me feel really comfortable and eager to make a purchase. I came to find out that her name is Vicky! I had the attitude of "just give me whatever is the cheapest" without even testing a mattress out or even knowing what could possibly be best for my body. Mrs Vicky was like, nope! We're going to do this the right way. She really did have my best interest at heart and had me to lie down on the mattress that has a machine to analyze my body shape and my sleep patterns, and it gave results of what was best for me. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and what stuck out the most was how KIND she was to me and my Aunt. It was a wonderful experience and I learned a valuable lesson about just wanting to purchase whatever is cheapest without considering all my options and doing what's best for me. Mrs Vicky could have easily just gave me the cheapest mattress set and be done... but she took the time out to really explain my options to me and she never once pressured me to buy the most expensive items. My husband has neck and back problems. we needed a new bed but were overwhelmed as to where to start. We went into Mattress Warehouse and were met by Akisch. He was very friendly and took time to explain their process and the method they use to assess the mattresses that would fit us best. As we tried the recommendations, he asked probing questions to help us eliminate those that were not perfect. we also wanted an adjustable base. Once we picked the mattress we wanted he moved it to an adjustable base so my husband could get the feel of the mattress on that base.

The best part is that although he spent over an hour and a half with us, there was NO pressure from him to buy. He even offered to give us a few minutes so we could talk amongst our selves. Applying for the financing was a breeze and (for a change) I left feeling good about the purchase.

It was just delivered today. The delivery men were polite and respectful of our property. Everything was set up and they showed my husband how to work the bed. Overall, I was extremely pleased with this experience and would recommend Mattress Warehouse of Matthews to anyone looking...

Haley has been an absolute DREAM to work with! This is the ONLY place I will shop for a mattress and accessories going forward! After having horrible luck with my last two mattresses (not from Mattress Warehouse) I was hesitant to start the mattress buying process again. Haley is professional, yet relatable, was able to answer all of my questions/concerns, and matched me with the PERFECT bed! Haley went out of her way to make sure I was fully satisfied with my purchase and I never felt pressured to purchase (which is a rarity when you’re in sales.)
