Looked on Google saw Firehouse in Matthews closed at 10pm so I hurried and got there at approximately 9:45. But when I went inside all 3 employees seemed mad that I was there. So I asked the young male manager if they were closed and he said no. So I asked him why he seemed upset and he said: "people keep ordering while we are about to close." (Which meant ME.) The two females seemed like they were angry, and neither one of them said one word to me, terrible customer service. There was more dialogue between myself and the young male manager but all three had terrible attitudes the entire time as if I had just ruined their night. You would think they were working for free. At this point I watched them make my sandwich closely because I didn't trust them anymore with my food. This is the first negative review I have ever wrote about any establishment EVER, but I felt like the hardworking owner of this location needs to know why his business might be losing customers like many other places I see closing their doors and going out of business. It's because of poor customer service like I received and it makes me not want to spend my money at this location because it's very difficult to trust people with these type of attitudes...
Read moreThis Firehouse Subs is the worst or just had a very bad day. I placed an online order for me to pick-up. Online says pick up at âRapid Rescueâ rack inside. (Email confirmation also says this). Well when I got there 5 minutes ahead of my time, there was nothing on the rack at all. It took me a bit of watching to figure out apparently they arenât putting the orders on the rack but holding them behind the counter getting cold. When the sub is first ready, they call a name but after that nothing. So after waiting 15 minutes (probably too long I know), I went up to the counter and asked. Turns out my sub had been sitting there since before I entered. Stone cold by then. Wonât be going back. Why have a pick-up rack if you arenât going to use it. And why not document your procedure which is different that what Firehouse Subs says online, in emails and in...
Read moreI forgot this location was here. A friend sent me a screenshot of their promotion from social media in which they give a free or buy one get one sub to people whose names have certain letters in them. Turns out it was the wrong day which was fine. However, you would think with three employees working there would be silverware and napkins stocks. Also the straw papers would all be picked up off the floor. The Young male associate appear to be training at least one of the female employees. They were young so possibly first jobs for them however I would think it was common sense to not stand there and eat where the customers can see you where the food is being prepared. My sandwich was supposed to have no mayonnaise. As you can see from the pictures it was drown in it. The service was...
