Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Matthews

Close this place now!!!! I see why it had a low B! This place was terrible. There was so much food on the floor it's like the buffet was on the floor. I literally almost slipped on a pickle being there were so many on the floor. All the tables were nasty! We cleaned our own table off. There were like 3 or 4 black guys working (I'm black btw) and they seen some white girls come in they all tried to talk them not caring about customer service. They all came from around the counter and started talking to them. There was no silverware so they gave me plastic to eat my salad. They guys behind the counter was talking and playing the whole time. Neither of them had on gloves but was touching the pizza dough to make pizza. This was the worst cici ever! Literally. Everyone who came in after us was complaining and so I seen one tall guy who looked like he could be manager come out and start clearing the tables but not only was all the tables full of trash so was the floors! Before even leaving my BF said he didn't feel good and I thought he was just over exaggerating because everything in there was horrible. But after leaning I began to feel sick. A little dizzy and stomach hurting. Will never go again. Terrible customer service, food, and place in general. And I'm writing this review right after leaving so 11/28/15 at 8:10pm close this place down. There were only specialty pizzas available (mac n cheese pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, etc). That's not that bad to me but my boyfriend wasn't a fan. One customer that had come in before us stacked the rest of the regular topped pizza (supreme, combo) six high on a plate and left it on his own table. But he didn't eat it, just left it there. That's no one's fault, just really odd and annoying. The salad bar was, not gonna lie, kinda sad. There were two trays of browning garden salad, soggy red onions in some liquid that I don't think was supposed to be there, dill pickle chips (???), and huge florets of broccoli. Like actual broccoli crowns. The cucumbers and croutons were fresh and tasty though. There were four kinds of dressing, two of which were ranch but it wouldn't come out? Both, the dressings were stuck to the bottom of the container. The desserts that were offered were brownies and cinnamon rolls but there were maybe two of each left. They had been really tossed around and picked through; they didn't look good, but they tasted good. There were three women working, all of which were very nice. They greeted us promptly and wrang us up quickly. They seemed great, the food...

Truly honestly this was a disappointment, the location is too small for the amount of people that are coming to this place, only about 2 cooks in the kitchen, the place is hectic it's like I walked into a chuck e cheese, the food was swimming in its own grease and oil, the noodles looked like they been sitting for a long time, the place only had one drink machine so you'd have to wait in a line to get your drink, place looked dirty, no paper towels in the bathroom, they need to remodel this place desperately... remove the arcade or shrink it down open the place up more add another drink machine, expand the buffet, instead of putting pizzas that not many people choose to get like the supreme or the apple cinnamon, have two of your most popular pizzas- pepperoni and cheese, there was no communication in the kitchen and was desperately needed leadership, on a Saturday most likely this is your busiest day have more staff. For the price of the experience it was $26 for two, in my opinion it's definitely not worth that Id probably pay...
