Kapalua Bay Villas — Attraction in Maui

My family and I had a wonderful vacation staying in unit 30G2. It’s ideally located within walking distance to Kapalua Bay and 3 other beaches. Landscaping provided privacy even with the coastal trail being right outside the backyard. The unobstructed view of Molokai and vibrant sunsets from the trail were awesome. Toiletries were provided as well as dishwashing soap and sponge for the kitchen, tide pods for the washer, and dryer sheets for the dryer. We were able to make homemade meals with the utensils provided, and we packed just enough clothes to travel light knowing that a washer and dryer was available for us to use in the unit. The box of Hawaiian chocolates was a nice welcome gift, and the view of Oneloa Bay from the living room looking through the wall-to-wall glass window into the back patio was fantastic. The beddings and towels were fresh and clean, and beach gear were also available. The beach towels folded into sea crabs and the tissue paper arranged into flowers petals were cute, welcoming touches. The primary bed was comfortable, and the couch could be turned into a sofa bed. The shower area was very spacious, and towel hooks were plenty. A pack-n-play and a mini high chair were also available for those traveling with children.Parking is within a few steps from the front door as well as one of the pools. The Honolua store is conveniently located within a 5 minute drive from the villas and is like an ABC store but a little better.I’ve stayed at other KMB villas before both in Maui and Oahu, and they always deliver. Gate and door codes were super convenient. No need to keep track of key cards. Check in/out were seamless. I would definitely stay at a KBM villa again and recommend them to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing home away from home on...

We stayed here for our elopement to be closer to the location where we were going to get married. It was the perfect place to stay nestled right in Kapalua. It was very secluded, romantic and private. We were blown away by how well maintained, well kept, spacious and elegant this place was. We loved the added features of having a code to get through the gates to get into the villas and the contactless check-in/out process. The check-in/out process was easy to follow and straight forward. The view from our villas was breathtaking. We got to see some beautiful sunrises and sunsets during our stay here through the many windows in our room. The only caveat is that there is a minimum stay of 2 night at this villa. Shabby Villa in Paradise We have stayed at the beautiful Kapalua Bay Villas for many years. This time we found that Ridge Villa 2022 had deteriorated terribly since our last stay there a few years ago. The condo’s sliding glass doors and screens were completely broken, the furniture shabby, the fake plastic plants and other art and decorations sad and ugly. The temperature control on the master bath shower was nearly impossible to move, the mattress and linens were cheap. The air conditioners were extremely noisy.

We were so happy to be in Kapalua after the pandemic lockdown that we didn’t complain, but we will never stay in that villa again. It’s a real shame that it has been allowed to deteriorate like this, and it is an embarrassment to Outrigger.

I really hope Outrigger and the owners of the villa will give it the care and attention it deserves, but at this point, we cannot...
