I’d like to share my Mini Facial service experience, but first of all, I’d like to congratulate the new owner in her recent 1st Year Salon anniversary! I love the changes.

I was received with a wonderful warm welcome, and was made comfortable right away. I was asked about any allergies or concerns Jackie should be made aware of before my mini facial treatment. I liked how thorough she was from the beginning. I was excited to learn about her products which are locally made. And since I’m not sensitive to strong smells and actually love them, she adjusted my treatment to a variety of relaxing island-infused scented products. (Don’t worry if a scented service is not your thing) Jackie can accommodate your request.

Once the service started, I immediately felt relaxed. It honestly had been a while since I had a mini facial! I do have eyelash extensions and she wonderfully adjusted her technique around my eyes, a mini neck and hand massage was absolutely relaxing. (Now, I undoubtedly, need a hot stone service in a near future) Miss Jackie has a very nice warm touch.

My favorite part was the cold stones, (one of Miss Jackie’s suggestion). I have a bit of rosacea condition and facials stimulation can increase the pink pigmentations on my face. And the cold stone add on was just a wonderful ending touch to my experience. Would definitely recommend her...

Jackie has an intuitive understanding of the body, and it’s clear that her skills are rooted in generations of knowledge and tradition.

She masterfully blended several techniques—deep tissue, lomi lomi, therapeutic massage, and targeted stretches—tailored perfectly to what my body needed that day. Each movement felt intentional and deeply effective, releasing tension I didn’t even know I was holding. The session was both incredibly relaxing and powerfully restorative.

Jackie’s care, attention, and expertise left me feeling not just physically renewed, but emotionally grounded as well. This was more than a massage—it was true bodywork, and one of the best I’ve ever experienced.

This is for the NAPILI KAI location: for the price you pay you would expect way more than what was given. My wife had a horrible masseuse, mine was pretty good (thus the 2 stars not 1 star review). The place has no ambiance it looks like a physical therapy space but TINY. Just spend the small extra $$$ and go to Kapalua. We ended up getting another massage there because this one was such a bad experience, after tip (not included at Makai) it was the same price. Learned my lesson. Update: I called the main office to explain some of the situations that we encountered. The owner was receptive and sided with us in our concern.
