Kirkland's Home — Attraction in Memphis

The store manager at this location, Mrs. Joyce definetly goes over and beyond. I order a cabinet online and had it shipped to my house. Once I opened the box, I removed all pieces but notice their was no hardware included! After several hundred attempts to locate the hardware, it was a given that the cabinet was shipped without it. So I contacted customer service, advised the call center rep of my problem and she advised me that there was nothing they could do since the item was no longer available. Heartbroken, I just told her that I would return the item and ended the call. A couple of days later, I went to shop at Kirkland's location located in Countrywood (my weekly visit) and while shopping I advised Mrs. Joyce of the issue I had with receiving my cabinet with no hardware. She immediately went in the back and came out of their back room with a bag of hardware that would fit my cabinet. I went home and immediately put together my cabinet with no problems. I want to commend Mrs. Joyce on going above and beyond on fixing my problem considering the only choice I had according to the call center rep. was to just return the cabinet. Kudos to...

I love that you can find & buy higher-end, not to mention EXQUISITE, items at a low-cost!! I've had SEVERAL friends over the years that could financially afford to shop anywhere imaginable, but their philosophy was if their guests had to ask where they got something then no one could tell the difference between Kirkland's decor and Pier1, Pottery Barn, etc..So why pay for the name! -Just me thinking out loud, but that's more than likely why they are able to shop anywhere they want. Over and over again I've visited affluent friend's home thinking that I couldn't afford to buy a single thing they own so I ask about things I find beautiful (I only do this with close friends) and sometimes I truly can't. I certainly can't nor would I spend $8,000 each on my kitchen hardware, but it amazes me that around half the time something I presume to be out of my league is from Kirkland's and ten or more times less than I'd thought at first sight... The picture to the right (chairs with the red pillows) is what I asked for and what the supervisor assured me I was buying by placing her hand on each of the three pieces. Today when I came to pick up what I purchased the lady working here today (Karen) said I purchased the picture to the left (chairs with the white pillows) I explained to the lady (Karen) that is not what I purchased. The young lady (Kaylonnie) that was there with the supervisor from the original purchase told the other lady (Karen) that I indeed was right in the matter.
