I cannot speak highly enough of Mentor iPhone Repair. I have used them on multiple occasions, and have never once been disappointed.
Recently, I had a friend who’s iPhone died overnight and she had seemingly lost everything, including texts and voicemails from her deceased spouse and son. She spent the next morning at Verizon who told her that everything was lost, and there was nothing that could be to help her.
She came to work sobbing, beside herself, saying how much solace and comfort those messages had brought her, and she didn’t know what to do.
I called Mentor iPhone Repair and spoke with Matt Gollini and asked him if I could bring her phone in and they could see if there was anything he could do. He said that he had an idea of how to fix it, walked me through it over the phone, and within minutes, my friend had all of her messages back. Matt refused to accept any money for problem-solving it, stating “I’m just happy she was able to retrieve her messages,” which speaks volumes to Matt’s character and the integrity of this business.
Matt, my friend will be forever grateful!

Read moreToday I walked into this establishment to get two ipad and a Mac book fixed. The owner was helping a lady but never acknowledged me when I came in. I had a seat and waited over ten minutes. When she was done he walked to the back so I waited. Another man walked in and he addressed him immediately and started helping him. I asked the owner why he didn’t address me or service me because i was there before him and was visibly seating and waiting. He claimed he didn’t help me because he didn’t want to interrupt me because I was on the phone. I actually was barely talking, more so holding the phone and listening to his interaction with the previous customer. I asked him what does that have to do with the fact that I was waiting to be serviced and he made some excuses about him not addressing me was helping me. Never will I ever return and I’ll definitely tell everyone how terrible this experience was and to not come.

Read moreTook an inadvertent bath in the river with my iPhone XR on the Friday before Labor Day, and oddly enough my iPhone didn't respond very well to the full immersion in dirty river water. Local place that I called was not open, but I needed to get this fixed quickly.
Called up Mentor iPhone repair, got there an hour before closing, and even though they were absolutely swamped and one guy in the shop, they were extremely courteous and prompt with the service.
Unfortunately, after the repair the phone was giving me issues with the screen- turns out, the part itself was defective. No problem, took it back in and once again received the same prompt and courteous service as before, and was not charged a dime more.
I had gotten the screen repaired by another shop a couple of months before this (evidently, my phone and I are going through a bit of a rough patch), and the price was quite a bit higher than Mentor iPhone Repair.
Their prices and service are, quite simply, what every business in the service industry should strive to model....
