I had previously purchased all of my furniture from Canales when I first purchased my home 4 years ago; living room set, dining room table, bedroom sets, etc. At that time, their customer service was incredible! (I believe if you scroll down you can actually see my review from four years ago) Fast forward to August 3rd, 2020, Iām selling my home and closing on another property in late August. I walked in the store looking for a particular bed I saw on the website. A gentlemen asked if I needed assistance & I showed him the picture of the bed I wanted. According to their system, the bed wasnāt going to be deliver until the first week of September. I was more than happy to wait but he kept on trying to push other beds that would get delivered sooner. It got to the point where I was extremely frustrated since I kept on repeating I was more than happy to wait until August. I decided to leave & purchase the items I needed online. After placing my order online, I received an email stating someone from the Mesquite location would get in contact with me. I submitted an email requesting if I could speak to someone in another location due to the bad experience I had that day. I received a call shorty after from a gentleman named Francisco, from the Mesquite location, apologizing for the bad experience. At first, I was extremely grateful thinking I was actually going to get the assistance I needed with my order. He said he would be taking care of the 7 items I had ordered & that he would get in contact with me that same day with ETA, etc. Several days went by and I did not hear anything from him. I decided to send him a text asking for information & received his reply stating he was waiting for one item & that he would update me ASAP. Four days went by & no updates. I decided to text again & finally call the store to check the status since I had not heard anything from him. I finally got in touch with him via phone, he said he had everything ready to ship in a few weeks and we scheduled shipment for Friday the 28th. I contacted him the following day to confirm delivery & received confirmation from him stating the order would be shipped. Typically, with my previous deliverIes from Canales, Iāve received a call a few days prior from shipping providing a window time frame for deliveries. I found it strange I had received none. I decided to text Francisco to inquire this information. Several hours later I received a text from him stating some of the items I had ordered wouldnāt be shipped until November since they were back ordered.This gentleman had two weeks to notify me regarding these changes & decided to leave it until the last minute & only after I reached out to him. I decided to cancel my order & purchase my furniture from somewhere else with better service to their customers who provided me with delivery dates immediately after making the purchase. This place lacks customer service, communication with their employees is absolutely terrible, management needs better training, even corporateās lack of support shocked me after contacting them earlier today. As long as I have been dealing with this location Iāve never had an issue, from ordering to delivery, to if the items didnāt fit they didnāt put up a hassle/fuss; they just took the items back. Overall today 08/02/23 Heidi took care of me and although we were so indecisive she never once showed it. She was so nice and very patient and she went the extra mile even measuring the items in the store to give me an estimate of what I would he looking at far as height with the items I purchased! I promise you between Fransicso and Heidi I walked out a little less stressed and looking forward to the new start in our house with our upgraded furniture! Iām telling you guys you canāt go wrong with them and they will make sure you leave happy! Iāve been dealing with them since 2013 (a heck of a long time) I believe and I havenāt been back in a while but trust they never forgot me! Awesome experience! As soon as I walked in I was helped. Found items online was able to find out if they were available which they were. Process wasn't super fast but nowhere near slow. Approval was quick and easy and I didn't spend all my coins lols! And my delivery is already on the way!!!!! Francisco was amazing he got me approved within minutes!!! My second time around dealing with this company and they never cease to amaze me!!!
In 4/25 Aldo Romero and William Garcia delivered my storage ottoman! After waiting a few days and the weather I finally received my ottoman which made me feel better about the issue with the weather because I was also suppose to be getting a rug! This is my second time purchasing from this place furniture is very cheaply made if I would have listened to my husband I wouldnāt be dealing with poorly made low quality furniture. And to add to that the delivery drivers rush through putting your furniture together first purchase headboard put on uneven and crooked and then they want to charge you to come out and fix what they messed up in the first place. GREED!! Second time let me start by saying you are given an option to deliver or pick up. We chose to pick up this time get there no men on sight to load the furniture my husband had to do their job go in the container and get what we purchased while woman worker watch almost drop it while doing their job drawers knocked off track and was told it would be forty dollars to come out and repair get to the house and once again rush job and drawers still messed up. If you would have had adequate help to do what should have been done by your workers no of this would have taken place my husband could have easily gotten hurt and things would be all together different. Taking care of your customers fairly should be first and foremost instead of trying to milk your customers for any little thing when clearly this issue is because you didnāt have man power to do what should have be done. Then to top that off I got canceled more than once after I made appointments for the repairs which means I set a time to them I would be at wk and what time I would get home and they still showed up at my house twice what time they wanted to calling while Iām at work when I specifically gave a time that is not how you do business. Iāve purchased furniture form reputable furniture stores many times and never had any problems or issues with them period but itās a difference when you dealing with cheap furniture from Mexico and this is exactly what I get.
