Worst new years of my life. Where do I even start... I booked a "new years experience" at Kosushi Miami. The reservation was for 10:45 and there was a prefixed menu. I was anticipating this "experience" for a while. When I arrived to the restaurant, I was greeted by a woman who led me to a table and offered us a variety of overpriced wines and champagnes. My friends and I decided on the second prefixed menu option that costed $195 per person. At this point, the service seemed fine. Once we told the waiter what we wanted, she took our menus and disappeared for the rest of the night. From the moment we ordered to the moment we received the food, it had been 45 minutes. When the food arrived, it was in ant-sized portions. After receiving the first course, we were ready to leave. We decided to wait and see if the food would start coming out. 20 minutes after the first course, I flagged down the manager and asked him if it normally took this long... Shortly after that conversation, our second course came out and it was a minuscule piece of seared salmon cut in four bite sized pieces. At this point, I was outraged and ready to leave. I got the attention of another waiter and expressed my frustration in a polite manner but the waiter decided to approach me rudely. She told us we would only be charged for one person ($195 USD). I chose to not let it ruin my new years so I stupidly payed and as I was passing my card, the waitress was leaning over my shoulder and what felt like she was pressuring me to leave a tip. When I received the check, gratuity and various other charges were included in the bill bringing the total (after 18% tip) to $285 approximately. I am extremely frustrated with this experience and would not recommend this restaurant to anybody. The food was average and unoriginal. The atmosphere was also uncomfortable. Overall, this experience was a total waste of time. The music inside this exclusive restaurant was blaring and made it hard for me to...
Read moreI joined you all for dinner last night (2/14/2021) celebrating my fiancé and I’s engagement. We decided to try the restaurant after seeing the 5 course menu online you served for Valentine’s day. Once we sat down we did not receive service for a whole 30 minutes, my fiancé was very thirsty and was trying to ask any server for a drink but everyone turned away, this was just the first 30 minutes upon arrival. The service was absolutely horrible. We waited over 2 hours just to eat the meals for the course. We ordered way before and multiple tables who sat hours after us got their food right away. It was an experience that i am really upset about considering we were expecting to have an amazing night with great food, it turned out a complete disaster and a waste of a engagement celebration. If I could give 0 stars I would, DO NOT DINE HERE unless you want...
Read moreNice location with an awful service. Party of 5 on August 2021. The ambience of the restaurant is the only thing I wouldn’t change. Prices not according to service nor product. Basic sushi and starters, nothing exceptional. Super expensive wine menu. But the worse was the service, and the service charge it’s automatically added to your bill (18%), plus “resort fee” which is completely ridiculous. If anyone from Kosushi can explain this I will appreciate it. Also: the waiter said that the service charge was not the tip. What does this even mean??? He was claiming for more tip even though his service was the worse I lately receive in Miami. He just left the wine there and only poured one glass out of five. Asked him for a fork several times and the runner was the only one bringing it to the table. Will...
