I love good burgers and had to check out myself this new spot everybody is talking about.
It is located on South Pointe Rd, on the very south tip of South Beach, where parking could be challenging specially on weekends. Hence, I went on a Tuesday night and parked at the South Pointe parking lot that had a per-hour-rate at that time and day.
They have 3-4 different burgers on the menu and I settled with the Frenchie burger along with animal style fries.
Let’s start with the fries, to be honest they didn’t make it for me. The sauce was too heavy and I would have caramelized the onions much more, they were just clear as opposed to the brown caramelized onions from In & Out burgers in California. When I saw animal-style fries on the menu, I was using the In & Out ones as a benchmark, and that was probably my mistake.
Conversely, several people around me had the truffle fries, and they looked amazing. I will get those next time for sure.
For the burger, and what I actually came for, I can tell it is one of the best burgers I have had in Miami so far, if it is not the best. It was a solid patty in a Caracas Bakery bun(so good) and Brie cheese which complemented it so well. I enjoyed every single bite and it is a big burger for sure. If you aren’t that hungry, you can even share it with your date, and still be satisfied.
Service was pretty friendly and efficient.
One thing to note from the restaurant. I recommend seating outside, their ventilation system is not that strong and the place is pretty smoky inside. Hopefully they figure it out sooner than later, because in summer time you probably want to seat inside.
All in all, I loved my burger and will be returning soon to try those truffle fries and of course having...
Read moreReview one: The food was SO GOOD!!! The waitress attended us very well and very nicely. She would even talk and tell us about her life and make us laugh. And the food is still SO GOOD. But, the music could be a little better.
Review two: Ok. We need to start from when we were still in the beach and debating back and forth over which restaurant to go to. I searched up “restaurant” in google maps, and this quaint little burger shop appears. I suggest it and then we all agreed. This might not have been THE best decision of my life, but it is definitely up there. This little burger place has a burger called the Big Rond, which made me sit and think about life. Thats how good it was. Every sauce they have is stellar, and the nuggets are very good (recommend the spicy ones). Even the staff were very welcoming, with a waitress called Joselyn who we bonded with over being chilean. She even gave us free milkshakes. FREE MILKSHAKES!! Literally the only complaint i have about this place is that they could maybe put some jazz on instead of some 2016 electro pop radio they have on that kinda kills the vibe. Overall delicious, a must visit disguised as just another burger shop.
Review 3: the food was so good and the waitress was so nice and respectful. We have 3 milkshakes for free. The waitress made us laugh and was very patient. I recomend that a another music. 💖 These 3 reviews were created by three different people...
Read moreEDIT: The first time I came here wasn't the best experience, simply due to the service. I wrote a review & the owner, Ilan, was very kind & attentive. He responded to my review quickly and made it up to me by inviting me & my guests to experience Le Rond again. My second time going, the service was amazing as everyone was super attentive. They made sure our experience was great. The food was delicious, burgers were juicy & the fries were crispy. I also appreciate very much that everything is cooked in beef tallow. The atmosphere is very cozy, decorated very nicely & elegantly. Definitely coming back again! Thanks to everyone :)
The burgers were good and I appreciate that they cook everything in beef tallow, but when one goes out to eat, part of that is the experience and ours wasn’t great. We were sitting in the middle of the restaurant waiting for 20 min to be attended until we had to ask to be attended. The service was really not good, and once our food came, although the burgers were good, we could have had a better experience at home. If I could order anything there I would pick the sweet potato fries. I like how the place was decorated, but the atmosphere isn’t great either as you come out smelling like smoke & burgers....
