THIS COMPANY IS THE SAME AS BAYRIDE TOURS.
We got scammed, just like dozens of others based on the reviews of Bayride Tours. We bought two tickets through Miami Skyline Cruises, and we turned up, got given tickets to what turned up to be a Bayride boat. I wasn't very happy when I found out, because I wanted to purposely avoid Bayride given their awful rating on Google. Unfortunately I didn't read any further into why people gave bad ratings, because I wouldn't have fallen for the raffle scam otherwise.
They very cleverly ask you to fill in a raffle ticket with details about where you're from and how long you're staying in Miami. In retrospect, this is so they can target non-US citizens who are more likely to fall for the scam, and less likely to have a recourse when there's no prize at the end of it.
We won, and went downstairs to the bar area on the boat to be told about 6 potential prizes that we could choose from, including hotel night stays, cruises and flights. He will then ask you for ~$40 as a 'fully refundable' deposit to reserve the prize, after you sit through a meeting at one of his partner hotels at the north end of Miami Beach.
I fell for it, paid him the money, and only later checked reviews for BAYRIDE Tours, to realise that it's all a scam, and there's no prize waiting for us at his hotel. We rushed back, kicked up a big fuss, and demanded a refund, which he eventually processed. The threat of calling the police was the only thing they responded to.
There are 3 raffle winners each trip, and they run 8 trips per day. That's $4038â$1000 per day shared between the crew of 6 people. Not bad turning over $350k per year for no effort whatsoever.
Do yourself a favour and don't let these people fool you. Do the tour, by all means, but avoid the raffle at all costs. And if you see anyone on the boat entering the raffle, just show them...

Absolutely Amazing Experience with Miami Skyline Cruise!
I had the pleasure of taking the 2-hour Miami Skyline Cruise tour today, on the 4th of July 2025, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations.
The staff was absolutely fantasticâfriendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The boat itself is the tallest among all the boats and yachts in the area, offering unparalleled views of the stunning Miami skyline. But what truly made this experience special was watching the incredible fireworks display from the boat. Having seen fireworks from my own yacht and other boats before, I can confidently say that viewing them from this cruise was a completely different, breathtaking experience. The vantage point and the ambiance created by the boat made the fireworks feel even more spectacular.
For just $30, this 2.5-hour tour is an absolute steal, especially considering the quality of the experience. I highly recommend it over spending thousands on a private yacht or other high-end boats. Itâs a fun, affordable, and unforgettable way to celebrate such a special occasion.
The mojito bar on board was a delightful highlightâdelicious drinks and a fantastic bar attendant who made sure everyone was well taken care of. The tour guide was also exceptionalâknowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, making the whole journey even more enjoyable.
Overall, I give Miami Skyline Cruise a 5-star rating and will definitely be returning. Whether you're a local or visiting Miami, this cruise is a must-do! Donât miss out on this incredible experienceâit's truly worth...
Read moreWe did the the mojito bar sunset cruise. They were very helpful about changing our reservation to a different day. We called the office and got a better deal with them then Groupon offered. The boat was nice and the narration was great. Mojitos were $26 each. Ouch! But good Mojitos. If you're going for a sunset Cruise check the time of the sunset and you want the sun to set towards the end of the cruise that way the Sun is setting behind the skyline of Miami when you are almost done. We did the 6:00 and the sun set at 730 so it was perfect. Remember, the sun sets behind the buildings, not on the water side. So you want the sun to be higher. At the end there was a hard sell to leave a tip and someone with a tip bucket as you departed the boat. If you buy your tickets on their website you have to trade them in when you get there for printed tickets. Do this before you get in line to get on the boats they have a kiosk however the kiosk is not in front of the boat, you have to look over by the...
