I was disappointed with my recent experience. I had scheduled an online check-in for 4:30 p.m., arrived on time, and was met with some confusion. The staff initially seemed unsure of my check-in time, and one of the employees mentioned that those check-ins are pointless because you could just walk in. There was also a delay as they tried to figure out a billing issue from a previous customer, which led to a bit of disorganization while I was standing there waiting to be serviced.
Eventually, I was told to sit by the red hair lady, but after explaining that I needed a wash and blow-dry, she proceeded to inform me she couldn't service me due to a shoulder issue. I was then asked to go back to the front and wait. Alejandra, the stylist who was free at the time, told another the blonde hair stylist to service me when she was done with her customer even though she was free. During this another customer walks in and Alejandra grabs him and serviced him before me. When Alejandra was done with him, then she said ok I will service you now because the blonde stylist was still with her customer.
When it was finally my turn, she asked me to sit to wash my hair. I will give her props for washing it good. She asked if I wanted a trim which I politely said no, thank you. We proceeded to blow-dry my hair (no products were added), she insisted again on trim and I said ok trim my bangs a bit. She cut half a finger length on my bangs and insisted I trim my ends so I reluctantly agreed and she cut about 1/4 or less of my ends. She proceeded to blow dry and stop several times to attend to the computer. The end product was my finish look was frizzy.
However, I was surprised when I received the bill. The cost came to $92, significantly higher than the $35 starting price I saw online. I asked her for a breakdown of the prices and she gave me the round around and said my blow dry was $61 which I disputed because I have short hair and the starting price said $35. To avoid an argument, I paid and left.
I am recovering from a shoulder injury and am unable to wash and blow-dry my hair myself, so I sought this service as a solution. This will be my first and last time here.
The overall experience and price were not as expected. The worst place to go. Avoid...
Read moreHave been going to this location since at least 2013. I had medium length hair and on Thursday decided to get a buzz cut #4 (to help with the Miami heat) a $24 buzz cut plus $5 tip. I left that night to Tampa and returned yesterday. Over the weekend I noticed some patches had longer hairs. I walked in yesterday and asked the lady at the front who turned out to be manager, Janet. She insisted that she needed to charge me again for a new cut as it had been more than 3 days. I tried explaining that it cant get more simple than a buzz cut and I was not upset about the missed patches but the lack of customer service. The discussion lasted longer than if she would have just helped me fix it and just passing the shaver again with the #4. The store only had a few customers in it. I hope the owner of this franchise sees this review and acts accordingly. I will now simply go to one of the other 5 plus shops in Brickell and give them my...
Read moreMercedes Just did my haircut for the first time today, she was very thorough, asking me the details on how I wanted her to trim my hair. I gave her a quick detailed overview and she quietly went to work. She understood perfectly my wishes and began a technically superb process to trim my hair. Typically with a new hairdresser I need to spend quite some time explaining many details about my hair.
She quickly figures out how to trim your hair paying attention to every detail including, ears, neck and eyebrows. She is experienced, has superb skills and manners. She did not make small talk which sometimes i didn’t mind at all. She is definitely an asset for this Supercuts location. If I managed or owned a Supercuts franchise i would love to have...
