I'm wondering why I'm getting a chance to review this location an additional time. Seems like a lot of things on my phone are happening in twos. I wonder if there's a little spy causing things to duplicate because when I scan a UPC code I have scan it twice before it reads. No joke, being serious. So if you see two by me, or one here and one somewhere else under the same title, then something be amiss, and if so that's the star of trouble for the internet electronics and everything else because everything runs off the internet. So I grew up in the same town passed by here many times never really visited but that was almost 50 years ago. Now I'll come in here very often as I can to Eastgate, because it's a very nice looking, fabulous decor and clean parking lot and storefronts. I feel like I'm on rodeo drive just like the title on the one shop over there by the pet store and the nail spa. Spa? So it's got a little Whirlpool or jacuzzi you get your nails in like to do on them calgon commercials? Or was that Dawn? I think it was Dawn dishwashing liquid. I was at Palmolive I don't know Calgon take me away! I can't explain everything that this shopping center has to offer one must actually visit in peruse in the way of window shop or stay in your car and drive around shop. Has so much you could plan to visit anyway it has a feeder supply, Kroger, couple of banks I think, and that place that you can put your nails in to relax and they can sip on a beer while soaking in a tiny jacuzzi full of dish soap. Wait, that would be similar to the bottle that you put in the fountain at the entrance of... Oh hey look at that over there! I didn't say anything about that dish soap and fountain at the end of that neighborhood.... Well there I go again what you talking about Willis? Time to go visit Eastgate shopping center, you may even spend the entire day there. Five super special sud-free Stars. Because this isn't that neighborhood interest with that fountain when I was... Why do I keep doing that? 🙊🙉🙈 UPDATE 10/6/22 First order of business is: The little spy has departed. It seems my phone was logging into the Google account twice. Once as the actual account and phone Motorola Edge 256KB (2021) and another log on as Unknown Device. I corrected that issue ( several Google account checks and unchecks. Google is so vast🤔🙄). So here I am once again, as it should be. One individual, almost reached Level 8, with some badge accomplishments as well. So, Eastgate? Never heard of it. So, it must be the same ol' same ol' way it has always been. Read previous review. It probably won't say anything new...
Read moreWe shop here all the time and it always seems to be busy here. The pandemic caused a lot of shortages everywhere, and Kroger wasn't immune to it either. It's gotten so much better now, but we still find certain items are always out of stock. I guess with the kids on NTI again, parents are stockpiling the fridge and the pantry for them. Anyway, we can usually find the majority of the things we use and need. The price of beef is still priced too high! Nonetheless, I do trust their quality of meat over other stores. We've been eating more pork and chicken. There for a while, the pharmacy was swamped and had long lines. I realize they were working as fast as possible, but twice it took 5 days to get a refill on my medication. During that time, I had an infection that required an antibiotic. After telling them about the urgency to fill a new prescription, they willingly filled it in less than a half hour while I waited. I'm glad the pharmacy is starting to get back to normal now. The deli meat, bakery, and produce dept always seem to have fresh products. The store appears to be kept clean. When it comes to checking out, it can be hit or miss depending on the time of day. Regardless, it's much better than trying to get checked out...
Read moreThe Kroger is very good. Not great but very good. There’s a Peruvian restaurant here that we’ve fallen in love with. There’s a pizza restaurant here that makes pizza to be heated at home. The sausage they use which T reminds me of the sausage in Ray’s Pizza in Manhattan. There’s an Indian restaurant that’s been here forever. There’s a a Petco that has training which for most dogs is very good. And they care. There’s a SportsClips where I’ve gotten my haircuts for five years. It’s hard to get the same person for more than two haircuts but they all have done a great job. The Kroger Liquor Store there that is very good, though they have a very annoying entry alarm!!! There are several smaller stores here that have been here for many years. Totally...
