After 4 hours of trying on dresses I was tired and uncomfortable and was ready to wrap up the day. Immediately I felt forced to pick a dress.FIRST mistake NEVER PICK A DRESS THE FIRST TIME SHOPPING I change back into my clothes and walk to the register to find out out that my mother in law gifted me the dress! She hands me the folded receipt (so I didnât look at it) and we left, after I get back home everyone starts sending me photos of me in the dress and it seriously hit me that I really couldnât see myself in it.The next day was Monday (not even 24 hours later since I left Atianaâs boutique). I Called and was told unfortunately the moment they enter it into the computer it places the order. So no exchange or refunds I tried offering to spend more money on another dress. We spent $1,600 and offered to spend up to $500 more and they didnât budge. Of course I cried and all of that but hey, what could I do. November of 2019 I went back to start alterations Before I left I asked if I had to pay today or put down a deposit and she said âNO come back in February. Iâll have them done and then you can pay. This morning around 10:34 am I get a call from @Atianaâs Boutique .A very unprofessional employee calls me demanding I make a payment today of $320.00 for my alterations. At first I was like okay yes no problem and was explaining to them that in a couple of weeks Iâm coming in to try it on post alterations and when I come in Iâm 100% paying for it. After trying to explain this to her she starts escalating in her tone and hostility and starts belittling me. Now she tells me I canât try on the dress until they get the payment. i ask to speak to a manager and she replies while I am the manager. I ask her for her name and she replies with Moe. At this point I have lost all cool and ask to speak to someone higher than her and she hangs up the phone. i knew I needed to calm down and try again I call and say: âgood morning, may I ask who am I speaking with.â The man on the phone replies with: âSummitâ ( i could be spelling name wrong) I briefly explain that I had called this morning and was upset and would like to speak to a manager. He says her name is moe. So I respond with okay is there someone else I can speak with because she was very rude and unprofessional and he tells me that he is the owner and was with her when she was talking to me and that she didnât do anything wrong. Okay first of all customer service 101 is the customer is always right. Even when they are wrong you still should be the one who rectifies the situation and calm all parties down and come up with a solution. At this point I Am appalled that if he in fact heard the ENTIRE conversation held between Moe and I hedoesnât find anything wrong with it. Rather than attempting to fix the situation he tells me to come pick up my dress and the company will not be doing the alterations MEANING they NEVER touched my dress!!! I then went to the store to pick up my dress, and yes the man was there (Summit) he gave time the dress I then asked him to open the bag and show me the dress trying to ensure one that is my dress, two no damages on the dress as Iâm checking he says âwe are not that pettyâ so I replied well your lack of professionalism and lack of trying to fix the problem tells me different. He then said âtake your dress and leave!âMy experience has been a nightmare from hell since day one.Clearly I would never go there again and want to advise ANYONE even remotely thinking to check them out - RECONSIDER!!!! Do your research. Itâs already stressful enough let alone dealing with inconsiderate people who only want your money. The lack of Professionalism I experienced with that company was distasteful and downright nasty. When youâre paying any amount of money for anything you should be treated with dignity and class. Atianaâs boutique should be ashamed of themselves for representing their company in such a manner and for the horrific customer service to people spending their money with them. Donât...
Read moreAtianaâs was a great place to go. I was sure my daughter would find her dress there because the variety of dresses are insane. Down fall: First and foremost, the parking was ridiculously HORRIBLE! I even got out of the car to wait for a parking space because we were there going around for about 15 minutes and new people coming in were taking the spots when there were others waiting for longer. So I got out and stood on a parking space. This older man literally backed up to that space, kept on going like if he was going to run me over. I didnât moved at first because he had just came in when we were there before waiting for a parking space but saw that another person was leaving so let him have it. It was ridiculous. So we walked in being our first time there as I explained to the girls in the front desk. She said ok just look around and pick 6 dresses. The dress size should be the sizes of her pants/jeans. Nothing else was explained to us. It was very full. There were people around that had their own person to help them but nobody to help us. We couldnât find her size so we took awhile. We found 6 dresses and was walking around to see where to go next until we found our own way. There were some employees walking around but not one asked us if we needed any help. I had to stop someone to ask all the rest of the questions and she didnât know so she asked another employee and she didnât know neither. They had to call the manager so he could explain. The girls were there checking their dresses and coming out to see it on the huge mirror they have outside the fitting room so my husband stepped back and stayed on the shoe area. There was this ONE guy sitting on the sofa right there with a stroller when there was barely any space for everyone else with sunglasses on watching ALL the girls coming in and out of the fitting room. I felt he shouldâve not been right there in that area. If he was a dad waiting he couldâve done the same thing my husband did. Wait at the shoe area. Every purchase is final and no returns are allowed which I wasnât happy about because we are doing things a little early afraid of being behind and not being able to find a dress on time. The dresses are not cheap at all and if something happens such as not fitting you canât even exchange the size. Plus: the store is clean and dresses are organized. There were girls (employees) back there picking up the dresses that were tried on but unwanted to the back to make more room and were there to assist on picking up different sizes if needed. They were all nice and quick. I thought that with having an indecisive daughter we would take approximately 3 to 4 hours for her to choose a dress my daughter had picked her dress AND shoes within an 1 hour and 15 minutes. The line process to try the dresses was pretty quick and also the purchasing process as well. They changed the dress to another nice bag with hanger and out we were. I would go again if needed because I know we will find whatever style of dress weâre looking for and service is good for the ones that do help and receive the help. But it does need improvements such as front desk needs to do better explaining the process because after all we are spending our money there and we deserve every detail possible, if there are girls that are simply walking around and see parents searching around to ask if assistance is needed, in my personal opinion men shouldnât be in the fitting room area. If they want to see the dress then the young lady should step out so he can see it. Last but not least, THAT PARKING needs FULL attention. Itâs a disaster to park there and people took double parking, parked in spaces that were not for parking and others were blocking turn spaces. It was horrible. Please fix if you donât want to lose customers.
If it wasnât for those downfalls I would have given...
Read moreI honestly never write reviews, however, this was well needed.
I had been searching for a dress for my younger sister & she had fell in love with a dress that was found at this boutique while looking with our cousin. My cousin had confirmed with an employee that the dress was for a specific date & asked if making payments was an option. The employee gave her the information & said they would hold it for us so I can be there to put down the deposit & gather more of the information.
Once we came again to put down a deposit I had asked the employee (which was a different employee from who was working), again about the payments, how it works, & if while making payments I would still be able to pick up the dress because the dress was for my sisterâs Quinceañera. Once again, the employee confirms that I can continue to make payments in that 30 day period & as long as I show Iâm making those payments, weâre good to go. Cool. We confirm a date for official pick up so the dress can be steamed.
My sister & my cousin now go to pick up the dress a few days before the party, & ANOTHER Employee who claims to be the manager, is now telling them that they can not leave the store with the dress until the payment is fulfilled. Now, Iâm frustrated because weâve been told multiple times that this was okay, otherwise, I wouldnât have put the deposit down if I was able to make the full payment already. I am speaking to this manager over the phone, asking them if this is the policy, which I get it I work in retail management, then I want the money returned because the point of buying this dress, was for the party. She then tells me that itâs policy that the deposit will be forfeited & stays silent. She gives no further options. I clarify, âSo what youâre telling me is that because of your employees misinformation, Iâm SOL of my $200?â. She just says âyes thatâs policyâ.
Clearly, I am upset now. I ask if there was a way if we can move the payment to another dress within budget because unfortunately, I did not have the full payment for that dress currently since I was planning to do payments.
Why am I as the customer, needing to give options to you, the manager, of what we can do vs just telling me my $200 is forfeited because of YOUR lack of training with employees? Needless to say, I check the fine print from the deposit & no where on the paper does it say that the dress needs to be paid in full prior to it leaving the premises.
I am frustrated at how they handled the customer service & am not sure if I will be handling my services here in the future. Hereâs a picture for reference of...
