Dear Millcreek Mall, I am posting in support of Heartland Pets going Humane or Going Away. This is not a bad thing for either Heartland or the Millcreek Mall. This is called progress. Times have changed. More and more people are being educated on the fact that pet stores such as Heartland Pets sell only puppy mill dogs. This is a cruel environment for the mom and dad dogs forced to breed again and again in horrible conditions. Many of the puppies are not healthy either physically or mentally. You can ride the wave of change and become better because of it or you can be swept away by it, leaving you in the past of antiquated ideology and true ignorance that profit is more important than the life of these animals. It’s your choice. One will make you a champion to your customers; the other will lose you customers and keep you in the dark ages of cruelty and suffering. If you truly wish to be educated, go to HeartlandPetsGoHumaneorGoAway. There are over 100 pages of truthful information on the dogs purchased by Heartland Pets from Puppy Mills. This is not a bleeding heart, well-meaning animal lover movement. It is the solution to a long term problem that was once overlooked, but now people are seeing pet stores, like Heartland, for what they truly are. Please educate yourselves with the evidence that is easily found and make the decision to be a better place because of the wonderful changes that are happening right now and will...
Read moreI will rate this mall 2 stars, I rate it as 2 for a few reasons, 1. This mall is in my hometown, it's nice to have a mall, don't get me wrong, but it's sort of a boring mall, a lot of clothing stores are mostly for children- younger adults in their twenties, and they need more afforable accessory stores and less jewelry stores i feel like we have 7 jewelry stores and it's ridiculous, why so many?! We need more entertainment in our mall. 2. I don't like the food court, now the food court is actually clean, but I don't like the set up of the food court whatsoever. 3. The pet store, the pet store in the mall (Heartland Pets) gets it's puppies from puppy mills, this pet store has been here for maybe over 20 years now, it's filthy and disgusting, these poor dogs are stuck in cages and some people think it's actually "cute"?! No, it's sad. This place needs to go away, what also makes it more disgusting is that it's right next to the food court, eating in the food court while smelling pee from the pet store will make you gag, when I pass the pet store that's what I smell...... pee....... these puppies pee in their cages, they sit in their pee and they lay in their pee, never support heartland pets, whatever the staff tell you they lie to you about! I can't blame this whole thing on the other stores here, I try to only buy stuff here when I need to and since this is the only...
Read moreWow is all I can say….. I was completely blown away by how busy this mall was. It almost felt like I was having a flash back to the 90’s, LOL From the moment I parked and myself, partner & 2 boys were walking in… you saw kids and parents, picking and dropping off kids and teens and it was almost like a mad rush just to get inside. Once we got inside, wow!!! So busy and so many thriving stores. It was such a relief to still see a busy thriving mall. That’s a rare thing to see now days. I get that Erie is a cold wintery place to be and live, which doesn’t leave much to do. But whatever you’re doing, plz keep it going and keep it alive. There’s so many stores and I don’t think I saw hardly any empty ones. My kids were just as blown away as my partner and I were. They can’t wait to go back again someday. We don’t live in the area, and we visited Erie for a weekend adventure. Needless to say, they can’t wait to go back and visit again. I didn’t get many pix, but I got a couple odd ones. One inside Spencer’s at some t-shirts, a Skechers window walk by & the entrance to the...
