I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at HairLounge Barbershop, and I feel compelled to share it. This place is a disaster on multiple fronts. First off, their prices are absurdly high, especially for kids' haircuts. I was charged $40 for a basic, cut for my child. To add insult to injury, the barber was new and clearly inexperienced, & barely spoke English, He had just started that day and failed to mention this crucial detail before hacking away at my kid’s hair. To make matters worse, the barber had the audacity to take pictures of my child's head without asking for my permission. This invasion of privacy is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. When I inquired about getting a taper for myself, I was shocked to hear that they wanted to charge me the full price for just that simple service. Clearly, they are more interested in overcharging than providing good customer service. If that wasn't bad enough, they didn’t even have a proper payment system. I only had a credit card with me, and they forced me to walk across a busy street with my child to find an ATM to withdraw cash. This was not only inconvenient but also dangerous.
