DO NOT LIVE HERE. it is the worst management I have ever seen. Live at any other place on campus all around the same price. They show complete negligence when it comes to safety and security. Locked apartments have been broken into and they blame it on the residents. not to mention bikes are stolen from the bike cage on a regular basis. This apartment complex needs to be under investigation. Here are some photos of what it looks like on Saturday morning which dose not get cleaned up until Monday.

DO NOT LIVE HERE I had to rewrite my one star review to add on more things because of recent events. The bridges partime leasing team is nice, they are trained to say the right things and are friendly for the most part. But the next level employees is where this place drops off beyond what you'd expect. I don't even know how to put this lightly but the bridges is the absolute worst place you could possibly live in dinky town. To all parents looking at having your kid live here PLEASE DO NOT. First let me start with the over 3 star rating here. This is fake and I'll explain why. They have monthly events where if you give the place a review while they're watching you, you can get a snack or a gift card. Residents are constantly doing this because who doesn't want a gift card. But since they watch you give a review people just give a quick 5 star review and take their prize. This is close to illegal and what is causing the not so bad rating. Next let's get to your apartment. The pictures sure do look nice but that's NOT how it is. Our apartment is horrible. Patchy paint, cracks in floor, broken oven, broken door. Our door didn't even properly lock for 6 months into our lease. Our oven has been broken for 2 weeks and the bridges keeps making excuses of how they cant fix it. Also my rent made a sudden $40 increase which I was told would be refunded but never was. Next let's get into the management. I've had 3 different managers through my living experience and seen no change. They will always fill you with excuses after excuses to try to hold you over but will never really do anything. For instance as we were gone for 5 days the management entered our apartment and left our lights on for all 5 days which made our electricity bill skyrocket. We were told we would be refunded for this but here I am 5 months later with no money in my account. I have approached management countless times to try to resolve issues and nothing has ever came of it. Oh and you want to speak to the manager? Good luck, you can go ask the front desk person to speak with her and they will say "she's not here" as you can hear her talking in her office. It's like trying to talk to a government official or something, its honestly laughable. Also they pride on being a "party place" they will rent out the event rooms here to constant frat partys/formals but claim to the residents "you cant rent those rooms" they just want to get people talking about the place. Sleep on the weekends is impossible with the amount of noise and running through the halls. The place is covered in vomit and pee on Monday morning. There is still vomit on the carpet outside my room which has been there so long its just become a part of the carpet. Discusting right? All I can do is just BEG people who are reading this post to not live here. Dont believe the fake reviews. This post is the TRUE experience of living...

Parents and Students Beware!

We have two daughters living together at the Bridges. We chose the Bridges for the location and supposed locked and monitored front entrance and underground parking. We were willing to pay a higher rent as safety is our utmost concern.

Over the past two years I have personally witnessed continued out of control partying, a young man being beaten in the hallway outside the girls' apartment, CRAZY loud music at all hours of the night seven days a week, vandalism to lights, ceilings, walls, elevators, carpeting, etc. that take forever to be repaired and the constant smell of marijuana in the halls.

I felt it necessary to call the police the night the young man was being beaten since I could find no one at the lobby desk as usual. The police did come and I witnessed literally 80 kids being escorted out of the building by the police from ONE apartment. I understand this is a college apartment and parties and noise are to be expected….but this is another level!

In addition to the noise, partying, and vandalism we have become increasingly frustrated with staff. I completely agree with previous negative reviews. Staff is not at the desk at the times they are supposed to be. Calls and emails go unanswered for weeks. Each time you call or email or stop at the desk you get a different employee (young students) that don’t know what’s going on or don’t care. They “take a message” but you never hear back. Not sure where all of these messages go!?!

To top it off, this year the leasing office messed up the girls lease renewal and gave their room to someone else. After 4 months of calls, emails, and personal visits nothing has been rectified. We are being told the girls need to move into a different apartment at the Bridges, pay higher rent, AND pay a relocation fee of $700 to do so. Money doesn't grow on trees so obviously we are very upset about this. The last response from the Bridges “Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything else”! wow.......

We will be filing a complaint with the University and whoever else we can and DO NOT recommend...

DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have had nothing but bad experiences here. I should have listened to the reviews. When I signed up to live here i was told on the phone that I would have a different apartment than i was assigned. They hyped it up and told i could chose my view and i would have a great view over The city/ university ave. I move in and find my unit is completely different from what they told me on the phone. Then, upon move in my apartment was left dirty. There were dirty gloves, tools and chemicals left in the bathtub making the shower unusable. They never came to clean up or finish the job they started and I ended up having to find someone else to do their job.

Second the amenities are a trap. We’re being charged a ridiculous fee when we can’t even use more than half of them. The rooftop lounge and terrace are always locked and haven’t been open since i’ve moved in, the gym is not kept up with and the printer does not work. I’ve been paying for amenities i never got to use.

Third, the parking garage is NOT SAFE OR SECURE. The door to get in is always left open and i’ve had my car broken into and things stolen and when i asked for the footage they said the camera doesn’t work?? The guest parking garage is also total chaos. I’ve been hit in this parking garage and also so close to many more accidents.

Finally, i had my last straw today. Opened my door to find i was trapped in my plastic they put over to paint. When i came back with groceries they wouldn’t let me or other residents enter OUR OWN APARTMENTS because of the paint. So i had to sit downstairs while my groceries went bad with other upset residents. If this was going to happen there should have been an email. All that was sent out was a general email about painting nothing about not being able to enter or exit your unit. Now my unit is filled with paint fumes. I’ve also had maintenance requests never completed. I’m sure so they have something to charge me with to take my security deposit. Don’t let the location and modern look fool you. This place is not...
