The Crown Spa Nails — Attraction in Minneapolis

I set appointments ahead of time for three people both manicure AND pedicure. I also asked if we could be done at the same time they agreed to that. I asked again just to have them confirm it could be done and they said yes it could. We got there on time and we were told to wait, and that we did not ask to get our nails done at the same time. However a girl that worked there said "thats the one that wanted their nails done together" and they disregarded her. They also tried to tell us that we didn't ask for specific things even though we did over the phone prior. An employee also lied saying they tried to call us all multiple times which didn't make sense because only my number was listed. I received no calls. We ended up waiting an hour for us to start and we did not get our nails done at the same time. I had a simple design and it was not done very well, I got dip on my nails, no extentions. When I was finished and left I realized there was still a thick amount of dip underneath my nails. I still tipped, as you should for any service, but they were rude and do not deserve your time as they will not take it very seriously and rush you out. Im disappointed in the service...

i’m actually still sitting here mid pedicure but i’m so blown away that i couldn’t review fast enough- the cleanest place i’ve ever been to start. they go above and beyond perfectionist hygiene. when i saw all they do to keep it clean and safe it horrified me what other salons did. there most basic pedicure is most places deluxe- i actually thought i was getting deluxe because all they were doing- and it was awesome i didn’t care, thinking they had accidentally though i said the luxury one when the manager clarified that it actually was the basic- what have i been doing going anywhere but here. Then there is the extreme attention to detail, you can tell no one is rushing- everyone is focused intensely and trying to do high quality work. you aren’t just getting what you paid for- you’re getting MORE than they charge. But even if they charged what this all is worth for more i still would be happy to pay it because it’s so over the top better than anywhere i’ve been in a literal decade of monthly manicures and pedicures. i’ve never had a salon, one that i always went to because they were always the same deal until now. i will never ever go anywhere but...

LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES!! This is the only nail salon I will go to from now on. I made the mistake of trying a different salon near my place of work. They had no idea what they were doing with the dipping powder. I knew how they were supposed to look because of my exceptional experience at The Crown. This was a nightmare - the nails were chunky, uneven and just a mess even after I went back to get them fixed. I’m pretty easy to please but this was just crazy. I suffered with them for two weeks to at least feel like I got my money’s worth. Today I went back to The Crown to finally have them done right again. The service they provide here is nothing short of outstanding. Andy is an absolute artist. He meticulously checked every nail to make sure they were even with one another. He clearly takes pride in his work and it shows. He’s excellent!! Also, to the reviewer who complained about not getting your nails soaked. They can’t do that for you with the dipping powder. It affects longevity.

Edit: to add photo. You’d never even know these were dipping powders, they’re so thin and even. Only Andy could make my short stubby nails look like a million...
