Professional, friendly, skilled, and conversational- TJ did a great job asking clarifying questions and not making assumptions while also making great styling decisions as we went to get the cut I was imagining. After years of feeling a little out of place in many salons/barbershops or not always seeing eye to eye with stylists, it was so great being in a chair where I related to my stylist and felt like I was in good hands, someone who specializes in short cuts but doesn't embody the uncomfortable elements of lots of barbershops. TJ is great at making you feel at ease and is non-judgemental, taking you as you are when you go in. He takes time to get the details precise and to go back over the cut to add small finishing touches, so you can feel the genuine effort and his passion for the craft. The entrance is on the back of the building and you must be buzzed or let in. The studio is on the second floor and has elevator access.
