This was a nightmare experience from the beginning. I found him on Groupon and had a lot of problems just trying to schedule via text. He said it’s the only way he communicates to keep track of things since he is a busy Hair Stylist. Finally was able to schedule an appointment after days of going back-and-forth of texting, waiting for a response. 52 minutes before my appointment he text me that he has a migraine and wants to cancel I was in my vehicle ready to leave as I’m over 30 minutes away I had planned my day around this appointment. To make up for the inconvenience, he offered me a free keratin treatment, which I thought was very nice so I accepted and moved on. We were able to reschedule and he did a fabulous job very informative and certainly knows what he’s doing. It wasn’t his skill that he got this one star review for. It was his lack of professionalism, Along with the un organization and the way he spoke to me. Today I sent him a text that I still haven’t received my products I paid for even though he promised multiple times to send to my house directly or have available when I came to my keratin treatment. Fast forward I showed up for my keratin treatment. He still hasn’t sent me my products, but I told him no problem. He could just give it to me when I arrive to my appointment. When I asked for the products before leaving my appointment he said they were back ordered but just a day or two prior told me he would have them. Again, no problem just send them. Now more time has passed and he asks me what I ordered. I told him multiple times, “whatever u recommended, I’m not sure”. He then got aggressive and angry like I was coming for him when all I was saying is I don’t know, you didn’t give me any receipt and I didn’t know the product line. He he’s on about all the clients he sees, eventually to tell me never to contact him again and he will make sure I cannot post any reviews which is the only reason I feel it overly necessary to post this so others don’t experience the same. I spent a lot of money on these salon exclusive products so I do not know the name of them as I do not work in a salon and he now states he will refund my money but if it’s this hard to get an appointment or my products I can’t imagine what I have to go through to get my hard earned money back! I do Not recommend him, and that’s truly unfortunate. I have never experienced anything like this in regards to how he handled his lack of unorganization to know what he recommended I order. I trusted him, went with whatever he recommended and gave him plenty time to deliver my products now I’m just out almost $200. If you don’t want your money & time to be wasted, go somewhere else. I made an appt with Gavin for a haircut/highlight. I tried confirming the appt without response. I arrived at his salon and called/texted repeatedly without response letting him know I was outside of his locked door at our 10:30 appt. He messaged me at 4 pm that night apologizing. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and made another appt because he assured me that would never happen again. I confirmed the appt less than 3 hours before the appt.
