I grew up boating back east and being in boats since I was born. Going on a Moab Jett ride has been on my bucket list since moving to Moab and how it was better than I could’ve imagined is beyond me. The owners are long time locals and overall great people. The booking, checkin and check out were easy. Our van driver, Dave was entertaining and nice. And you can’t beat our boat driver, Rob Ho. Rob was one of the best boat drivers I’ve ever rode with. His knowledge of where the Jett boat was able to go, locations of rocks /sand bars, knowledge of boating laws and geology were all impressive. You could see how he watched the water and looked out for any obstacles be it people on rafts or debris in the water. The dangers of the Colorado River scared me before going but none of those concerns were with me with Rob at the helm. We did an adventure tour which was so much fun. We loved the splashing, getting wet, and spins. They were all super fun. Rob had a great eye on the landscape and spotted a herd of big horn sheep. The views were stunning and the ride was one of a kind. I can’t wait for my brother to come out and take him and my kids on a scenic tour. Highly recommend Moab Jett for anyone wanting to experience the Moab landscape in a way you are unable to otherwise. They have something for everyone between the adventure tour and the scenic one.

Wow! Two hours of exhilaration and beauty. What a great way to see a slice of the Colorado River! Rob did a great job of guiding our jet boat, doing 360's, at times soaking us, and telling us a bit of the history and geography facts for the area. We went on the 10am ride, the weather was warm so it felt good to get wet. But you want to heed the warnings on the website and dress appropriately. The jet boats are fast, but Rob's 28 years of experience showed and made us feel very safe. I highly recommend Moab Jet tours!

We rented a 4 seater UTV from here and it was awesome! The sales guy walked us through each step of how to use the machine and what limits it has, did a thorough inspection for previous damage so we wouldn't be liable and then told us the best spots to go a take it out. We had a blast and spent 8 hours on the UTV with our friends exploring all of Moab! The UTV itself was brand new and amazing, it was exactly what we were looking for and we will use them again the next time!

I am APPALLED by this company. We took tubes out to enjoy the river. (Before you say anything… we did this through a private company, completely equipped with everything we needed to do it safely) The majority of our entire float was amazing . Every private boat we encountered was friendly and kind. I’ve spent almost 40 years of my life on deep, high current rivers. Multiple times, three of the Moab Jett boats unsafely passed us. Multiple. Times. The last time they drove passed us recklessly, they knocked me and my CHILDREN out of the current we had FINALLY gotten our tubes into. It was a high current super fun part of the River. I get it. The boat pilots were concerned with giving their riders a great thrill, not the children in the tubes nearby. It had taken us multiple attempts to get into the correct current. And after one of their boats knocked us out, we tried hand signaling for help to their other two boats for assistance and were waved “hi” back to. I understand they don’t have time to stop and help every person they encounter BUT when our predicament was caused by their reckless operation…. I think the most professional and humane course of action is to help. We ended up taking our tubes out of the water, and walking along the highway to a safer distance because I was that afraid of the Moab Jett boats returning. The rest of our float was pleasant and uneventful. When we returned to shore, I called Moab Jett to speak with a manager to report their pilots unsafe actions. I wish I would have gotten her name BUT I didn’t. She was extremely dismissive and explained that the Colorado river is unsafe to tube on and that the community is currently working on changing rules to not allow it.

Moab Jett, here is my statement to you: the rules are not changed YET. People who aren’t on motorized boats have the right to enjoy the river, just as you have the right to profit from the river. An apology for your operators reckless operation would have been appreciated. Instead of asking me where I was from, what my water experience is, and lecturing me on water safety. Funny how the ONLY time we felt unsafe was when your boats were nearby. As I told your manager on the phone, if you continue operating like this, someone will be killed.

Edit to add: I can’t find a way to comment in reply. Thanks for admitting you saw our hand waves of distress and ignored them. Also thanks for proving your attitude of not giving a care. Lastly, anyone reading this, please continue reading the reviews to see we aren’t the only ones who experienced your company's wanton dangerous behavior. PS, I looked it up, flotation devices such as inflatable tubes are exempt from the rule to have a paddle. Educate yourself. And, as I told your manager on the phone, it doesn't matter if someone is floating according to the law or not, you are still obligated to not operate your boat in an...

Called this place just after 10am and spoke to a woman named Anne who was very rude. I was having trouble hearing her and asked if she could repeat something she had said only to have her begin speaking to me as if I was a 5 year old child. Eventually I made a reservation for he next day and when I told Anne "thank you" for her help she replied with "uh huh" and hung up.

Before 10:30am I was notified of a family emergency so my friend called back for me in order to notify this place that we'd have to cancel. Their only concern seem to be getting a cancellation fee out of us, which was the full price of our reservation, since we had let them know less than 48hrs before our reservation time. This would have been fine had we been told about the fee while making the reservation, but they didn't mention a cancellation charge at all, partial or full.

According to Anne, the only way we wouldn't be charged the cancel fee was if someone else happened to reserve the exact same time slot for the boat tour that we just had. When my friend asked Anne how often canceled reservations get filled, Anne replied with "The sooner you hang up, the more likely it is that will happen" in a very hostile and condescending tone. After my friend got off the phone and told me what happened I immediately called back and asked for a manager, whom I spoke to named Cassidy.

Cassidy tried to argue with me that cancellation fees were standard. "Do you understand that?", he said repeatedly. I told him that standard or not, we hadn't been informed of such a fee during our making of the reservation at all, so he eventually said that he'd "see what he could do" and call me back. Less than 5 minutes later Cassidy called back and said he would honor our cancellation without a fee because "someone else filled the spot". It's much more likely he hung up to check with Anne and see whether or not she had mentioned the cancel fee to us, which she hadn't, and upon realizing he had no real leverage decided we were more trouble than we were worth and lied to us about someone else filling the reservation.

These people come off as very insincere and greedy, and are not worthy of your money in our opinion. I recommend taking your business elsewhere if you're looking for a enjoyable...

Customer service is apparently to overrated for this place! My parents went out here (from Grantsville, UT) last summer and really wanted to go on the Scenic Tour Adventure, but couldn't, due to the weather. I bought them a gift certificate to go on that specific tour and was made aware that there were no refunds. They went out here again to use the gift certificate and were told they could not do the Scenic Tour Adventure because there weren't any other people signed up, so they had to go on the Jett Tour. My mother did NOT want to do this, but as their gift certificate was going to expire in a couple months they went on this tour and were told they would get a refund. Not only was the tour a miserable experience for them, (due to weather conditions they got drenched and couldn't breath because of the tides they also got rained on) they were not refunded anything nor did they say anything about no longer giving them a refund. I called to ask about this because that upset me that their second trip turned out worse than their first. The first call I made to them I was told they didn't have any record of my parents being there (I gave them the date and time they had gone on the tour) I called 3 other places before I called them back a second time and left a message) The lady who called me back was really snotty, I started to explain to her what had happened and she cut me off saying she is the one who spoke to them and my dad was sooo excited about the Jett tour and "would get his wife excited about it" and said she never said they would be refunded (mind you she didn't get their names or anything to verify whom I was speaking about) and they wouldn't be, because it was a gift certificate. She could have cared less that their experience was less than miserable. All they cared about was making a free $150 (the difference between the 2 tours) I will NEVER make a trip out there for myself nor recommend anybody else to visit this place. If I could have given this review 0 stars I...
