Personally, I hate feeling like I'm being rushed when I'm eating. They seemed very much in a hurry to get us in and out as quickly as possible. I respect that it's a business and at the end of the day they are trying to make money, but when it starts to negatively and unreasonably impact the customer experience, I believe that's a problem. When we made the reservation, they told us to look at the menu ahead of time online so that we wouldn't have to take time looking at the menu in the restaurant. I just want to sit down and enjoy the meal at a normal pace, we were not deliberately lingering or wasting time in any way. After we paid our bill, we were waiting on our friend to come out of the restroom so we could leave, and they literally kicked us out so they could free up the table. To be honest, it really soured the whole experience for me. Like why would I go to a sit down restaurant at all if I can't relax and enjoy my meal without worrying? Again, we were there for well under two hours.
The food was good, but it was nothing special. I've eaten a lot of Thai food in a lot of places and it's hardly ever bad. In this case, I found the food to be about average for what I expect from a Thai restaurant, maybe a bit below average. Still tasty.
They also outright refused to give us separate checks. We are a bunch of broke college students, nobody is willing or able to spring to cover the entire meal. We were a group of 8 so they automatically applied a gratuity, which is fine and to be expected, however, they generously gave themselves 20%. I personally always tip at least 20%, but in my opinion, an automatic gratuity should not be more than 15%, as that is the minimum tip that most people would say is acceptable. Don't assume that people want to give you 20% (even if they do).
Basically, from the beginning of the experience to the end, they made their own lives as easy as possible, at our expense. For that reason alone, I would hesitate to...
Read moreBad service. Rude staff. Not family-friendly.
We went here for lunch nobody was there. We have a 22-month-old baby who was that day fussy because she didn't have good sleep in the place we were staying in town. The waitress came to us with a snarky unfriendly aura saying “Is everything ok here?” I responded sorry about my little girl being fussy but then she responded again with an unfriendly face saying "I'll be in trouble here if there are other customers". We felt humiliated by that comment and the lack of customer handling service which made us decide to leave. We went to a lot of restaurants and this was the first time we were treated like this. Anyway, we paid for overbreaded fried calamari and left. We didn't have the appetite to eat the food they were still cooking at that time after how we were being treated.
Also, the bald manager was horrible at handling the situation. My husband was paying and trying to tell what happened but instead of being apologetic he backed up his staff and said to us that we should make our kid stop crying as if we parents want our baby to feel fussy. My husband asked him if he does have kids and the manager insulted us saying “yes I have” and saying something along the lines of “But we don't let them cry”. Which made us even more disappointed and disgusted.
These people have no empathy. Fake customer service. They are only for showing and gaining profit. Read how they respond to customers who had bad experiences. No sense of accountability and decency.
We went to another restaurant my baby was treated nicely, gave her crayons, gave her a smile and offered a high chair as soon as we entered the place. While Thai Bella hasnt done anything we had to ask for high chair and treated us poorly.

We stopped at Thai Bella in Moab for dinner in Aug 2024 after spending a wonderful day in Canyonlands and Dead Horse parks. This turned out to be an excellent choice! All food we ordered was delicious, flavorful, and nicely presented. The portions were generous. Service was friendly, quick, and accommodating. They made a fried chicken for our daughter with sauce on the side and then brought a different sauce for her to try. They also nicely provided chili powder on the side, so we can adjust the heat level to personal taste.
Overall, it was just a perfect Thai food dinner! We highly recommend Thai Bella if you are looking for an excellent Thai restaurant in Moab area!
Appetizers Crispy Egg Roll - fresh and tasty Tom Kha Soup - awesome! It was flavorful, rich, and satisfying. Not spicy at all, but with chili powder provided on the side we tuned it to our liking.
Entrees Drunken Noodles - excellent! Red Curry with Duck Leg - this was totally outstanding! One of the best Thai red curry I ever had. The duck was made to perfection and though the dish was packed with ingredients there was generous amount of curry sauce itself. The only suggestion I would make is to replace zucchini with an eggplant. Zucchini were good, but eggplants I tried from my wife's Green curry were even better :) Green Curry with Chicken - delicious and perfectly made! Fried Chicken - fresh and juicy. Our 9y old loved it, making...
