It was a nice park with plenty of tables, grass to play in and a small playground for kids. There was also a skate park and lots of trees to supply shade. There is also a community center there that has an outdoor pool but we didn't take advantage of that. It seemed to be the place if you were just passing through town or needed a break from the road. Everyone there seemed to be from somewhere else and that made it interesting. Overall, we felt very safe and enjoyed our short stop there to eat our lunch and stretch our legs. The onlydownsidewas the restroom. Unfortunately, as is so common with any public restroom, the doors were bashed and the locks barely functioning, the walls and mirrors scratched and the soap dispenser nearly destroyed and empty but there was warm water. Unfortunately, this kind of destruction happens almost everywhere there is there is a public restroom. Otherwise, the city does a good job of providing a well cared for park for all to use.
