You know a cafe is good when the employees go there for breakfast/coffee off the clock. The Love Muffin is a really special spot in Moab. The people that work there are just as stellar as the delicious food they serve! The owners and employees care deeply about the service they provide and the quality of both the ingredients and the meals themselves. They pay attention to seasonal produce and work with local farms. They also have plenty of vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free options. Breads, jams, granola, sauces, muffins, meat, and more are made in house. Everything is made fresh right after you order. No meals premade! I love the chilaquiles, Shaka, and Rooster for breakfast. The chipotle, Cuban, and Vesuvio are my favorite sandwiches. Lemme tell ya, the meat they prepare here is like no other and they give great portions. Been burned many-a-time by sandwich shops that give me a paper thin slice of Turkey haha. I’ve worked at this cafe and gone there during my free time because I truly love everything about it! The quirky, alternative aesthetic of the interior, the smell of freshly baked muffins, the lovely kitchen staff who are quick to smile, and the owners, manager, and other members of the team that treat you like a friend rather than just another employee. They genuinely care about the experience of every customer and want to contribute to a happy and inviting atmosphere. This is turning into an essay and I could go on and on, but come to this cafe! It won’t disappoint! Alsooooo make sure to check out the cute merch and you better not walk out the door without...

We (group of 3) went to Love Muffin Cafe sometime before noon, and the place was already pretty full, but in spite of this we quickly were able to snag a table.
FOOD: Ordering 3 different things, our impression of the food ranges from 3 to 4 out of 5 stars, with 2 people opting for 3 stars, 1 person giving it 4 stars.
Be advised that the avocado toast is not an actual typical panino (italian style sandwich), but rather an open sided sandwich, although the menu lists it under paninis - which is fine, but it is overly sour tasting, with sparse amount of feta, and it also unfortunately included a part of an avocado that had gone off. The bread was a thick slice and good.
The bacon panino was better than the avocado panino (we know as we exchanged bites).
The breakfast plate E.P.T. was okay, but a bit bland.
BEVERAGES: Beverages were all 3 out of 5.
Ice-coffee tasted dilute. House brew was okay. The orange juice was fine.
OTHER THINGS OF NOTE: All meals came in a takeout type box, with plastic cutlery inside, except for the avocado panino which only had a fork inside (knife was needed, though). It would be lovely with real plates and cutlery, rather than generating a lot of trash with each meal.
We would probably not visit again,...
Read moreFood was good, but not good enough to make up for the rude and terrible service staff. They have protocols in place for COVID-19 which may be the issue, however when our food was ready our name was never called at the window, we had to ask for it. Then we asked to have our orange juice we had payed for (I’m certain of this because we placed our own order online), the server rudely replied “negative, you did not order orange juice.” I continued to have to argue with him in order to get what I paid for when he finally gave in after showing him our order receipt. I then asked to have cutlery which he curtly explained it was in the bag, I did not see it but thought it must be at the bottom under the boxes. Made it all the way to the car to find no cutlery or napkins. Upon going back again I had to ask for both things TWICE. It is such a shame the front of house staff are damaging the business as the food was good, but we will not be...
