Just such a bad experience. Came in to the salon thought my son could get a hair cut if anyone is available since I needed to do a lot of shopping there I came to the salons front desk saw one client sitting in the chair I stood there for like 10 min no employee to talk to so while I was standing there I called to the salon the lady answered I asked if anyone could give a quick hair cut she told me she is in the back right now and she is the only one and she has to return to her client in 10 min. Which is fine with me we can go to another place to get a hair cut. It was just weird to stand at the front desk and talk on a phone while I’m actually there she could have came out ask if I want to reschedule she knew I was at the front desk but I guess was too busy for us? She had the whole 10 min to return to her client it’s enough time just to reschedule us for another time. Then I had to look for someone who could help me out to find pureology products ok that didn’t go well she just pointed “it’s over there”. Which I was very grateful because I was looking for it for some time there. But then after she pointed where it’s just walked away.. Umm maybe I had some questions?.I ended up googling because I didn’t feel like chasing anyone for help again .I picked out bunch of products I came to check out and for some reason I got confused and stood on the wrong side of a line the cashier/employee clearly saw me standing on the wrong side for like good 5 min didn’t even acknowledge. After I went to the other side she rang someone else and just took off somewhere then again I was standing and waiting to be checked out while other 2 lady’s were on the phone. I was like for real ? This is really frustrating. Is this a good customer service ? I felt really not welcomed there. This particular store was my very first time and for sure my last visit. I spend a lot of money at Ulta and I’m done doing...
Read moreI hate writing less than glorious reviews, but I simply want to help someone not waste the amount of money I just spent - I got my hair cut by two stylists (two different times) and one time I left looking like the “berries and cream” leprechaun and this last time I felt like I had a mullet… the back was not cut to match the rest. My problem is that both times, I had to pay $67 (without tip so you’re looking at $85.) I recently-ish just came back to the area and don’t know of any hairstylists near by so I tried Ulta. I showed pictures of how I typically style my hair. Honestly, half the problem is the insane prices Ulta sets when the basics can’t even be executed. If it were a $30ish haircut I would shrug and just get it fixed and leave it alone, but two times combined in a three month period was $168+. I actually went to a hair cuttery today because I couldn’t stand the look and feel. The artist at hair cuttery listened to understand and delivered the perfect cut at a fraction of the cost!
Love the retail store at this location though. Always clean and they always have helpful, friendly artists on the floor! Just get your haircut...
Read moreI have been a ulta costumer for years and I the way current management is training the employees here is horrible and manipulative! I’ve never had an issue getting a transition through and when I was checking out I had an employee tell me that she could not finish the transaction unless if I gave up my phone number and information to sign up for their rewards! And when I said no you can’t force me to give you anything you can ring it out fine the blonde haired manager started to talk to me like I was in the wrong for getting upset! I work sales I handle these numbers at my own job so I know you are training your employees to say that to make numbers and that’s gross. Companies should not be training their associates to force the customer to give information. That is a manipulative sales tactic! No issue with the girl at register because she looked young and I know she’s being trained to say that. But the fact that that’s the customer service management at this location is pushing when that’s not a Ulta standard is ridiculous. I don’t care how low your numbers are you don’t pressure the customer and make them...
