I would give this place zero stars if I could. My experience with this store was horrible, as was many others on the same day. I went in on 6/11/2022 at 8:20ish PM to fill my consumers new prescription for antibiotics. They told me they could have it ready for me by the time they closed at 9pm. When I returned at 8:45pm, there was a rude man (Isaac) that later identified himself as the store manager, telling everybody in line that "we couldn't pick up our medications because he was about to close the pharmacy." Everyone else in line & myself were complaining about the same thing. They were also told to return before 9pm for their medications. Isaac then stated to other customers that "he didn't care, but nobody was going to pick up their medications because they were understaffed and he needed to close the pharmacy!" At this point, everyone was upset and he just proceeded to close the pharmacy. I was able to get my consumers medication only because I went to the consultation window and told the pharmacist that she had instructed me to return before 9pm and she recognized me, so she hurried to give me the prescription. I am upset that a pharmacy could deny peoples prescriptions after they were told to come back for their prescriptions. I am also upset about the managers response to all the customers waiting in line before the pharmacies closing hour. I will never go back to that store for ANYTHING! This is all without mentioning the inefficient communication between the pharmacist and her cashier employee. That employee, which I didn't get her name, was rude and seemed to not know what she was doing. So that prolonged the short time I had, even more, before closing hours. Don't go there if you can avoid it. Save yourself...
Read moreLet's start with the fact that it is a 24hr pharmacy. Great. Then look at the obvious. The beggars here are 24hrs and are quite aggressive. They will shoot heroin anywhere near the building use the sidewalk as their restroom and don't have a problem harrassing you coming and going. This place is a transient dream since they seem to get a $20 bill every five minutes by someone who falls for their scam. Please donate to community services. (They actually help with anything one might need) the worst part of this place besides the strung out vagrants is that they removed the handicap parking. If you actually have mobility issues and need to safely transfer from your car I would not recommend this place. It is extremely dangerous for anyone who is physically vulnerable and the vagrants run the outside of this building. This corner is super infested with aggressive panhandlers. I dread picking up prescription orders from here since I have been followed by beggars from start to finish of my experience and have even had one women shoving everything she could get ahold of in the store onto her body while trailing me. It was frightening. Would never come here alone after dark or without a can of pepper spray and bringing a child here isn't exactly comforting. The bathroom here is beyond disgusting and it is another have all your immunizations, a strong immune system and heaven help you if you are physically disabled and need to pick something up from here. About as close to a skid row as you can get in mountain view. The police seem to be trying to get this storefront under control but as long as people are giving cash, the boozers will keep calling...
Read moreIt's great that their pharmacy service is 24 hours. The downsides are:
I often need to wait about an hour or more in line. Even though I got Walgreens phone call and app message that my prescription is ready, when I get there, wait for 1 hour, they say that it isn't ready. Then I wait an additional half an hour or so to pick up mine. Sometimes, I get "action required" notice on my app and make a phone call to fix the issue. There was NOTHING I did to unblock it after a few machine screening and DOB check, etc. They said that it'd go through and the prescription would be ready in 3 hours. But until I called them, it just kept pending. Sometimes, I finish payment and wait for a pharmacist for 20 minutes to hear a few sentences. It's not even that crowded! If you see 8 people in line, multiply it by 8 minutes and expect a little more wait time than that.
Great pharmacy if you have unlimited time and enjoy waiting. Sometimes waiting is a joy of life, like waiting for your loved one for a date or waiting for Santa's gift. Try to remember that emotion. At least they are nice people, so I give...
