Food is great consumer service usually good. Everytime I have the short chubby guy with short spiky hair he has the WORSE COSTUMER SERVICE EVER. He dosen’t look at u when taking your order so when I say lettuce he tries to put olives on it. One day there was a group of nice ladies in line looking to see what they want I asked if they was in line they didn’t hear me so I went to him and he said they was in line…so he made me wait for 5 mins while those young ladies figured out what he wanted then I come up there with my girlfriend I go to him to order and he just walking around acting like he does not see me so I say are you going to take my order, he finally does. Today when I order I tell him what I want and he says the price takes my card out my hand doesn’t ask me if I want receipt and he doesn’t give me the cup how he is supposed to. As he’s making my gyros I’m telling him what I want he doesn’t look at me and he can’t hear I told him I want cucumber and instead he puts cucumber sauce I said I want lettuce he tries to put olives. Then I tell him I want two sides of cucumber sauce for my fries he doesn’t say anything or look at me so I didn’t know he heard me but he goes and gets the cucumber sauce but he does it so sloppy and he got a banana pepper in my sauce he looked at it and left it in there as you can see in the picture. He also just wrapped my gyro with no care when I tried to eat it everything kept falling out.. He is the worse employee...
Read moreI've been going to Opah Greek Grill for at least the last 3 years. Eating there just once caused me to return weekly for almost a year. I've moved across town and don't get to go as much, but I still make special trips to see Magdi and eat the great food there. You can tell when someone cares about their business because of the quality that's produced. Go try it and get hooked like I did! Best gyro shop in town!!!
On a separate note, his shop is by WalMart with lots of people of all kinds around and one day walking out of the shop a man asked me for change. I asked him "Why are you hungry?" and he said he was homeless and was really trying to get a bite to eat. I told him I'd buy him a gyro and eat with him if he wanted food. He had just started to agree but I hadn't noticed Magdi on his way out of the shop to bring the tea I paid for but left in the shop. Magdi interrupted and quickly took the man inside and fed him a meal. I honestly can't think of a better place to eat in town than Opah...
Read moreMy family tried this place for the first time tonight and I can't imagine where all the great reviews are coming from. The food was mediocre at best and lacked flavor. Gyro plate, hummus, and falafel were all just meh. My son compared it to a meal at Cookout, which was not a compliment. We were supposed to have a Greek salad with the plate and an extra order as a side but whatever we got certainly was not a Greek salad and did not contain any dressing, olives, or feta. To make matters worse, I ordered online ahead of time and received an email saying it would be ready at 6:35. That's exactly when I walked in the door and I was told it would be 5 more minutes. I could see they had not even started on my order, which is the whole point of ordering online. 24 minutes later and I finally got my food. They were busy and maybe I just caught them on an off night but I don't think...
