After reading the online reviews and visiting other jewelry shops in the area, I went into Platinum and Gold in search of an upgrade to my wedding ring. I was honestly a little skeptical because the store didn't look as big and flashy as the big box jewelry stores. I went in with low expectations but what the outside lacked in flash, Charles made up for several times over!!! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, as well as patient and thorough in explaining his industry. We discussed the option for customizing a ring which I always thought would be far outside of our budget. I left unsure but decided to call him back and explore that option.

I am so very happy that I did! I described to Charles what I wanted, he caught the vision, and passed it on to his designer! I was presented with CAD pictures of the ring and I, with much hesitancy, approved it. Looking at the CAD representation did not give me a real feel for what the ring would look like once complete. But Charles was so excited about it because he could envision it that it made me trust that both he and his designer would present me with a ring I loved. The next step was picking out my centerstone and to my delight being able to examine it under the loupe and microscope! The whole process was very smooth! Every question or concern I had he answered day or night, fully ensuring that I understood everything concerning my ring. The cost of the ring was far less than what I imagined a custom ring would be. Charles helped to ensure that the cost was in line with my budget!!

I am so glad that I stepped outside of my normal overly-cautious and analytical self to trusted him, his expertise, and his genuine character! My ring is absolutely beautiful!!! I am not sharing photos of this one-of-a-kind beauty because I want to keep it that way! :) But because of my ring and the quality service offered at Platinum and Gold, Charles has earned my business for life. A++++ We had an excellent experience working with Charles on my engagement ring. I specifically wanted a moissanite ring and asked Charles for his opinion on the stone. He was very knowledgeable of the stone and agreed it would be a great choice for us. We talked about our different design options and decided to go the semi-custom route. He very patiently worked with us, showing us different options for the band, mount, stones, etc…. I simply told him my thoughts on what I was looking for, and he showed us several styles during our first visit. Within a day or two, he sent us photos of several beautiful options he had found, and we eventually landed on a beautiful large oval moissanite with a hidden diamond halo in white gold. He treated us so well. It was so great to work with someone who truly cared about their product. We felt like he really wanted us to be happy with the ring and wasn’t just trying to make a quick sale. He wanted us to have exactly what we wanted, and he wanted to create a quality ring. Even though we designed and ordered the ring together, he helped my fiancé make it a surprise in the end. I saw the ring for the first time with him down on one knee, and I couldn’t believe I had such a pretty ring. I get compliments on it constantly. Honestly, I get compliments from strangers at Home Depot and the grocery store. We plan to be back to visit Charles for more goodies in the future. Coming from a couple who has visited a lot of chain jewelry stores over the years in search of the perfect engagement ring, you could not ask for a better experience. Very nice to work with. No pressure, super smooth experience, and at a very fair price. We love that Charles stands behind his work and didn’t try to press us with extras. A few months ago, I came to Charles looking to get a custom engagement ring made for my fiancee. The process was wonderful and a breeze. Charles was extremely helpful, always kind, and was able to answer any questions and concerns we had with expertise. We showed him a photo of what she wanted and he matched it perfectly. He did a great job at keeping us updated as the ring was getting designed so we could make tweaks here and there. And we both couldn't have been happier with the final product.

We also got our wedding bands custom made from him. We changed our minds a few times during the process and ended up changing part of the design for my fiancee, and he was always happy to accommodate what we wanted. For mine, I wanted to do a custom star engraving and the craftsmanship of it is truly master class. I think the engraving is exactly what I was looking for and he did a great job at capturing the vision I had with the help of his engraver that he works with out of state. I'm truly amazed by the final product and can't recommend him enough.There is a reason he has all 5 Star reviews.

His prices are also the best around. He's very transparent about the cut he takes and it's good to know your not being squeezed for everything you have. I truly feel like the value was amazing and it completely changed my mind on how much it would cost to get engaged.
