7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Murfreesboro

Update on my review! I emailed (they are slow to respond) but finally did. Went back and used my free drink and got my key lime shake. It was perfect and the crew that was working was amazing. Just like I’m used too. Moving the star rating back up the line. Thank you for making it right.

I ordered a Keylime pie milkshake for me and my husband to share. It was the first time I have seen the 7 Brew team not up to par. This was Murfreesboro TN location on 06/11/25 around 7pm. While the girl that took our order seemed new and was very sweet, I felt bad for her. She clearly seemed to be working with a team who could have cared less. When you looked into the store there was a guy scrolling through his phone and another just hanging out. He might have been working a little bit. There was another girl in there that seemed to be trying to carry her load. Worst I have ever seen a 7 Brew team function. To add to it the poor server gave my husband the shake without the cover fixed in place. (Not her fault). It spilled the shake down the sides and made a mess and she kept apologizing. We were so over what we saw and decided to just leave so I could clean up the mess and we could get out of the way. Come to find out it wasn’t even the drink we ordered. It was basically a vanilla milkshake. And even worse this was my free drink. I used my free drink on something I looked forward to trying and didn’t get a chance to try it. We should have turned around and almost did but the traffic in that area is very challenging to do that. I tried to call but the number goes to corporate and they don’t answer the phones. I just tried calling again during normal hours and it’s leave a voicemail. Yea like someone is going to call me back. Might just have to start going to Dutch Bros if this kind of...

We were traveling from out of town and were very excited to try 7Brew. Here’s a few comments about our experience.

1. Where are the menus? We drove up and past one QR code that I had no chance to scan, but then we got straight to an employee and they didn’t have a menu either. He had to hand us his iPad he uses to ring people up. It was nice, but I felt very embarrassed and then rushed. So, I ordered something basic. Highly suggest a menu sign and a chance for new customers to look and take their time. Also, we all spend so much time on our phones. Lots of us don’t want to look at a menu on our phone.

2. Friendly and fast service, for sure, but the loud hip hop music and overall vibes were not it for me at 7am. Like the workers were having a good time, but like I was stepping into their party rather than the party being for me (the customer). If that makes sense.

3. There was no food. We had no idea. We were starting a 10hr drive with no food, and ultimately, had to make a second stop to be able to get a little something to eat with the coffee.

4. The coffee wasn’t good. The mochas came out super fast and tasted like the powder and hot water mocha machines from 711.

5. The drinks had syrup all dripping down the side and got all over my husband’s fingers. And there is nothing worse than driving with sticky fingers! I think this was the worst part of the whole stop.

Will likely never go to 7Brew again after...

The drive-thru's dual-lane setup, while efficient, could be safer for the staff. The runner for the second lane, who handles payments at the car, was nearly hit by a car pulling away from the first lane. A simple solution like having these runners wear high-visibility gear would be a great way to ensure their safety and maintain the positive, high-energy vibe that defines the 7 Brew experience.
