Play N Trade Video Games — Attraction in Murfreesboro

I've been going to the store for quite some time. They were very welcoming after a terrible preorder experience at Gamestop(they sold a fully paid for preorder after a day of me not picking it up). Every time I go in there, the employees are very helpful in helping me make a decision of which games I should pick up. The issues I've had with any of my consoles have been easily repaired by them. The staff is always easy to strike up a conversation if it isn't too busy in the store. Prices for used games and accessories are really good(Got an HDMI cable when I got a new TV for less than $10). They also carry energy drinks such as Bawls. They have also recently started taking and repairing iPods and iPhones. What I like most is that every once in awhile they will have a Buy 2 used Games get 1 free. This is a great way to pick up some old games that a customer can finally play if they were unable to get those games at that time. The only complaint I have is out of the store's control. The distribution companies tend to give more of the special editions to the corporate giants like Gamestop, so it's hard to get a collector's edition from companies that actually make a limited amount of them. I loved this place at first had a really great experience my first time there but I just visited on January 26th and this was the worst experience ever. I went to trade in a PlayStation two and some old games that I have literally had stored in my garage for awhile. Upon opening the cases a bug had fell out( typical when you have games stored for awhile) he rejected all my games and my PlayStation two without even checking the rest nor the PlayStation, then the associate proceeds to tell me that that’s probably also what’s wrong with my Xbox connect. He looked at me like I was the grossest and stupidest person horrible horrible service they lost my businesses today over this and I’ll make sure to spread it to all my gaming buddies also. It’s one thing to reject the gaming system and games over a stupid bug but it’s another to make the customer feel stupid and like they are a nasty person and then not even finish business or make sure I needed anything else before going to the...

The staff are kind and relatable, i always feel as if they have given the best course of action for whatever I've come in for. The selection is beautiful, you have a good range of the classics and you have all the new releases, their midnight releases are always enjoyable! I recall the Gears of War 3 midnight release and they held a trivia contest, they offered special stuff for 1st and 2nd place. I came in 2nd and it was simply a great time. The only reason i withheld that 5th star on Play and Trade is they are a small chain. They dont have cetain benefits you would find in those ruthless power hungery chains, like Game Stop.
