I would like to preface this by saying that the girls who waited on us today were nothing short of excellent and this is absolutely in no way their fault. This is for the owner.
Today my boyfriend and I decided to try this spot for lunch after passing it a couple of times. We were so excited to see a new Italian spot in town. The food is fine, nothing special but not bad. However, I would not call it "authentic Italian food" I ordered the Cavatappi Al Forno, and if you had told me I was eating bacon Mac n cheese, I wouldn't argue with you.
However, that is not the message I would like to pass on to the owner of this establishment.
Dear owner: if you do not know anything about running a bar, drinks, or liquor, please do not open a bar. I ordered a Hugo spritz. If you're unfamiliar, it is a Prosecco based drink with St.Germain, an elderflower liqueur. Our server (who was evidently also the bartender) came back 15 minutes later with my drink (no ice because their machine was down) and explained to me that they had to substitute the st Germaine with another liqueur because they didn't have st Germaine. Okay, A. Why is this on your menu if you don't have it and B. There really isn't a sub for st Germaine unless you happen to have a well version of elderflower liqueur. So, I asked her "what did you use" and she explained to me that her owner had her use something else "floral" so he had her use FOUR ROSES BOURBON. Floored. I have no words. I told her that I was not upset or mad, but bartender to bartender, next time just ask your customer if you can make them something else.
Owner, please at least be sort of knowledgeable about the alcohol you sell. Today I drank hot whiskey cut Prosecco. It...
Read moreFake Italian restaurant!! Went out for a special occasion with friends. We had been excited to try this restaurant out due to all the great reviews, however our party had dishes that lacked flavor and was overcooked. Food is very expensive for what it is. We also waited over hour while watching the several tables around get their food when we had arrived first. The entire restaurant was served and finished before our food got to our table. Our server asked after the long wait what we had. She couldn’t speak English and wanted me to speak Spanish to understand how to take our order. No manager ever came out to apologize for the long wait and server never asked how the food was. Has a subway dining experience vibe. Only served beer. No wine list or special drinks. Waste of time and money. Two families very disappointed. They also charge a fee to use debit card and waive it if you pay with cash. Good luck staying...
Read moreI went to this place to try something new and close to where I was. This is in a plaza with other businesses, so there is parking available and it's free.
I arrived very close to their closing, but they were so kind! Adam was. He assured me it was fine to order. I ordered the classic alfredo, a cubano, and another pasta dish that I don't recall the name of. The second pasta dish had cheese, peas, caramelized onions, and a spiral pasta. That was the one I ate. It was good! I would return and I would order that again. All of the food seemed cooked to order. The order comes with moist pieces of bread. It was decent, but I was having pasta so I only had a bite.
I was informed the alfredo needed seasoning and we didn't care for the cubano the way it's prepared here.
I'm very appreciative of your time and patience. THANK YOU for serving us. We will return earlier than close to...
