In a realm of stars, one gleams alone, A solitary echo of discontent's tone. OMG, a lone star shines on high, A tale of disappointment, oh, my!
Locals we are, familiar faces in the night, Visiting oft, when stars are out of sight. Off-season's grace, a tradition we hold, After dinner's embrace, a story to be told.
A local discount bargain bestowed, a 50% embrace, Price cut in half, a smile on our face. Six dollars per soul, we gladly paid, A joyous dance in the moon's soft shade.
But as tourists roam, and dollars unfold, The tale takes a twist, as stories are told. Twelve or thirteen, a cost for the guest, A bitter taste lingers, a feeling distressed.
A tourist trap, they whisper and say, Where dollars are snatched, as dreams fade away. New owners arise, with greed they entwine, A shift in the winds, a rhythm malign.
Local love dwindles, as the discount wanes, A dollar's applause, an echo of disdain. Once a reward, a token of esteem, Now a slap so cold, like a forgotten dream.
Twelve and a half, they ask us to bear, For a round on the greens, as the breeze tousles hair. But our footsteps retreat, no longer in stride, Off-season's allure, now fractured and dried.
Farewell to your course, a parting adieu, In shadows we fade, as stars lose their hue. To sustain your domain, in the quiet's embrace, A dollar's demise, our bond's final trace.
And so we depart, with a nod and a sigh, The story now etched, in the night's gentle sky. Though you may not care, and indifference prevails, One star shall remind of this tale's...
Read moreGreens are ripped here and there , it definitely need some love . They also are probably underpaid and you’re asked for tips on the credit card terminal for almost no service but the lady was nice so there’s that . This is an easy level mini golf , we did it in under 15 minutes . I’m a bit deceived that this was one of the best mini golf in Myrtle beach according to some websites . Sorry guys, I don’t like bad reviews and this isn’t a bad review really but my deception had to be stated . Paint’s also peeling off in various locations of the parcour . Anyways , it was fun but the ripped greens on a golf course was what hit me the most to be honest . EDIT: We went to 5 different golf course and this one was the worse , you can see they even replied and tried to discredit me instead of agreeing with me. Finally, I wrote 15 minutes but if it was 20 or 25 it's almost the same for me. It was easy, even my 7 year old daughter did ACEs on that parcour. It's rare that I give bad reviews but the hurricane Debby hit me up north and my roof is leaking, I was still playing golf down there 2 days later and contacted the roofer when I came back. Paint peeling and teared greens should be a priority on a GOLF COURSE and there should be no excuses when asking for TIPS at the entrance . This feels like exploitation and toxic corporation. "We don't believe our customers and we have excuses". Sorry Mt. Atlanticus Minotaur Golf but next time, apologize and don't try to discredit me and...
Read moreGreat minigolf spot to get your daily steps in, it will definitely take you to new heights. Rating on 1-5 Scale Course Condition: 2.5 – Astroturf was chewed up in a few places, not all the divots were covered in astroturf which affected play, and plant debris on the course. A lot of stairs and walkways in between to buffer groups, with no real point. There was no interaction or moving parts of the course. Difficulty: Minotaur course 3 – most of the holes could be completed with 1-2 strokes. Several holes had multiple possible courses with only one being correct which was frustrating because the hole wasn’t clearly marked. The wood puzzles added in were easily bypassed by shooting straight at the hole down the center. It wasn’t really challenging. Cost/Value: 3 - $12.50 per round and they gave a military discount. Fun: 3 – Because of the layout of the course, we ended up with several groups behind us and a large group in front of us which made it a little less fun. It got really bottlenecked for the off season. There were a lot of steps, a lot of walking, a lot of waiting, then hit the ball 2 times into the hole and more walking and more waiting. The holes weren’t very interesting. Most you could easily get in 2 strokes or less if you can putt reasonably straight. Overall: 3 – You end at the top of the course which gives you a nice view of the area, but then have to walk down about 6 flights of steps back...
