And to think I almost didn't go. Cooter's is one hell of a blast from the past. It has all sorts of Dukes of Hazard memorabilia, some of which broughtback old memories. Once I realized how much it had, I asked if they had the DoH board game. I used to play it as a kid with my grandma. Sure enough it was there! So many good memories. Admission is free. You can pay to get a picture inside General Lee, otherwise you can take a picture of it from the outside. It might seem like a glorified memorabilia museum but it has lots of pictures of the cast and moments while filming the show. If you didn't know there was more than one General Lee, SURPRISE, those cars didn't make it out alive after 1 jump. Amazing stuff. That being said it may take 1 hour tops to view everything. Wish they would've had a General Lee Christmas ornament. I would have taken that sucker home.

I grew up watchin The Dukes, used to be my favorite show as a kid, Nashville is home to a shopping list of treasures and this is one on that list. Even not being a big fan of The Dukes of Hazzard just the scene and environment is enough to have you amazed. It’s incredible the trinkets, tools, and even clothing they used to make for this iconic series. AND the employees were awesome, enthusiastic, helpful, truly made the experience 5 stars. Sadly don’t have pictures of the stickers but we got 4 different Dukes stickers and some more merch. The store was amazing, if I was a millionaire I would have bought half the merch in there at least ! Cooter, the Dukes, and I’m sure the entire set would be proud of this establishment. THANK YOU Cooters Garage for the vibez and we will be back soon ❤️

We went to Cooter’s Nashville on Saturday, July 6th to check out what they had since we had seen and enjoyed the shows as part of our growing up years. There wasn’t any admission fee for the museum which contained a significant amount of relics and photos. They have a retail shop inside with plenty of souvenirs choices. And, what better welcome than to see a few photo opportunities just as you are pulling in the parking lot! A few side notes: Since this is located near The Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills Mall, we visited these on the same day as they are about 25 minutes northeast of the downtown Nashville (Broadway). Cooter’s does have another location in Virginia and we are looking forward to visiting that one in the future.

It's a nostalgia place focusing on the Dukes of Hazzard from the 80s show. Lots of original items and signed photos in showcases, along with everyday items that had the show's logo or motif. Outside was Cooter's tow truck and The General Lee car. Don't know if they were the originals or extra cara in the show but it was nice to take a photo of them. Unique items were there including small size matchbox type cars from pop iconic movies such as the car feom Thelma and Louisa, Wick, Rocky, etc. Prices were reasonable for gifts. The small museum shop was free to look around. You can walk through in about 30 minutes and have fun remembering the show.

This Free experience is one of the best times in Nashville! The souvenirs are less than most other places and the kitch and nostalgic experience is priceless. Young or older folks will enjoy this gigantic collection of The Dukes of Hazard. Take time to watch the film, it is lovingly made and really gives a background look at the heart each person brings each week. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Located near the Opry, it can be a quick experience- but should not be missed!!! We spent longer than we expected because it was laid out nicely and inviting. Clean restroom facilities and easy parking is a bonus!

I mean, it's free - that's about the best thing I can say about it. And it brings back a lot of memories of watching the show when I was young. But it's mainly a collection of memorabilia. I mostly marveled at just how much there is! There are a few cars inside to pose with, the General Lee, Daisy's Jeep, and a cop car, but if you want to sit inside for a photo op, it will cost you $10 each. I didn't really see anyone doing this, since you can take pictures as much as you want from the outside. Not exactly my cup of tea (a lot of confederate flags, natch.)
