East Recreation Center — Attraction in Nashville-Davidson

I seriously should have booked somewhere else. Paid $375 for 12pm-5pm and the manager comes in my event at 4:45 as we were cleaning up to ask for $75 more dollars because it appeared that we would not have our things cleaned out in time. I paid for 4:45pm so I should NOT have even saw your face until 5:01pm asking for more money to which she was NOT getting. She even pushed our things outside and closed the door. NEVER AGAIN. The fact that my husband already beat me to writing a review before we even discussed what happened says a lot. How completely unacceptable it is to go around telling my guest that we need $75 in cash in order to stay, not to mention she kept coming in saying this...

Horrible customer service. Termites. The lady who is in charge of booking the center has an elitist attitude, saying, "this is a regional center", you should book a community center of you want to be able to set up tables and chairs the day before your event, even though I offered to pay for an additional hours time to be able to set up the tables and chairs the day before, even though no one had booked the venue the day before. Another consumer booked the entire center the entire day and was told the same thing, that they cannot set up the tables and chairs day before, and at $75/hour this policy is...

I really enjoy the programs at East Park Community Center. It's a lively place and only steps from downtown Nashville. The front desk staff is professional. I think the workout room is fairly small, but it's likely similar in size to other community centers. The workout area is bright with a wall of windows and partially open ceiling. Jere in the pool area does a nice job of keeping a nice pace with all water classes. I highly recommend the evening Water Aerobics class. A health food store nearby is very convenient for after...
