The upstairs apartment is the most haunted energy I’ve ever felt in a haunted place. We got to the museum 30 minutes before they closed, so the lovely gentleman that worked the shop didn’t have the opportunity to tell us anything about the apartment upstairs, so we just went and toured on our own with the guided voice of Bloody Mary, and we did a pretty quick run around of downstairs. Didn’t find anything weird. When we finally went to go upstairs and open the door to the upstairs, my husband, who is a non-believer in any kind of ghosts or spirits, had an awful reaction, And refused to go upstairs. After a couple minutes of convincing him, we went up the stairs and right when we got to the top of the stairs, the teddy bear ghost hunting device (we later learned) went off as if someone or something was talking to it. We ran back downstairs to the shop to talk to the gentleman, we were terrified. He then explained its a ghost hunting device that helps to communicate with spirits of children. We asked if it is normal for it to go off like that, and he said it uses moving sensors but wouldn’t answer us if it’s weird lol. So I think we came at the right time, because the spirits up there were very active. We then decided to be brave and go up there one last time. So we climbed up the stairs and went to the doll room first. My husband refused to go in, but I went inside and stood in the middle for a photo. All I could do was nervously laugh in the room. I didn’t feel that scared but more of an adrenaline rush in my body and a playful mindset. One of the child spirits was definitely trying to communicate. The bear would not stop talking while I was in there. I tried to look at the different dolls around to feel where the energy would be coming from, but honestly, the little crawlspace was starting to give me a weird vibe so I had to leave. We then made our way to the kitchen. My husband once again refused to go in the kitchen, so I decided to peek my head around and take a look inside, I looked at the oven the refrigerator and immediately I had to turn around and leave because I did not like the energy coming from the kitchen at all. I couldn’t even go in fully. I could just tell that there was something weird about that space. When we went back downstairs to exit, I had a lot of questions for the gentleman working. He then proceeded to tell us about the death in that apartment the couple that lived there. Because we were rushing through the museum in 30 minutes we didn’t get to the tape about the upstairs apartment or see any of the information on the walls before we went in the apartment. Hearing the story and then reading about it after the fact it makes sense why the kitchen gave us such bad vibes. I definitely want to go back and get a reading there and do a séance. The voodoo magic that bloody Mary has put on her museum and haunted apartment really brings the energy of the ghosts alive like I’ve never experienced before in my life.

My husband and I have visited this haunted attraction twice now. The first time we attended the ghost hunt in the apartment, our guide was I believe his name is Michael Bill. It was an astounding experience with a mass amount of activity. When asked to go into the doll room, we were to differentiate which one's we believed to be the most haunted of them all. Without any clues, I guessed correctly. At the time they were Jody & Annabelle. There were many orbs caught on film. The activity we got outside of the dollroom seemed to come mostly from Addie (pardon my spelling if it is wrong). We used downsing rods, a ghost box and the tablet that processed the spirits as stick figures. The mini piano in the doll room began to play& when panning the tablet over the area, a small child sized stick figure was seen playing the piano. Also, a stick figure seemed to be dancing in open space outside of the dollroom& the ghost box stated "dance". Apparently Addie enjoyed dancing, so it was suggested to be her. The second time we went I received a bone reading. It was pretty incredible. The reader stated many accurate facts, however I am still searching to find the name of the woman relative's name that is said to watch over me. The reader said something about me having 3 children. I already had 2 at the time. Although my husband and I did not plan to have any more children, some months later I found out I was pregnant with our 3rd child together, he was born 01/01/23.

I’ve always been fascinated by the paranormal and I figured that New Orleans would be the perfect spot to cross ghost hunting off my bucket list. This was my first trip to NOLA, I booked a Ghost Town Tour/Ghost Hunting Experience with Bloody Mary, and I am beyond grateful that I did. We were picked up at the Haunted Museum and Mary drove us all over NOLA and shared a wealth of information about the city, its history, legends, and the many spirits that still linger there. Mary answered all of my questions and I truly learned so much from her. The entire experience was incredible, but my favorite part was coming back to the museum and conducting a ghost hunt. I was fortunate enough to have an interaction with a spirit, that, if I wasn’t already a believer, definitely would’ve made me one! Mary went above and beyond to make this experience as special as possible for me, and her expertise, passion, and respect for the paranormal and her guests are evident in her words and actions. I went on this 3.5-hour tour alone (because the rest of my party chickened out), but I felt safe with Mary and learned so much in such a short time. If I ever have the opportunity to visit NOLA again, I’d definitely book another tour/experience here and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting NOLA looking to learn more about the paranormal (and maybe have a few ghostly interactions of their own!)
