So, I pampered myself with a solo spa day at V Aesthetic Spa today, and honestly, it was the best day spa experience I've ever had.
I've been to several day spas before, and they all seem to be lacking in one or more ways. This place, however, was not.
When I entered the spa, I was warmly greeted by Alex, the new owner. I'd made an appointment, so it was smooth sailing from there. He introduced me to Dana, the massage therapist, who walked me to a room to change. After changing into a lush robe, Dana walked me to the sauna. I sat in there for 15 minutes, which was perfect. It was cold outside, so this was a great way to warm up and prep for the amazingness that was about to take place.
After the sauna, Dana walked me to the scrub room, where she proceeded to work her magic. She took her time, and diligently scrubbed my skin the delicious-smelling scrub. She got every single nook and cranny. After that, she rubbed chocolate all over me, and it smelled and felt amazing. After the chocolate was thoroughly applied, I was wrapped up and covered by a thermal wrap/cover of some sort, which allowed my body to heat up. The heat made the treatment that much more intense, and was so relaxing. Oh, and she rubbed this delicious-smelling, gentle scrub on my face.
After about 20-30 minutes, Dana started a warm shower for me, and I hopped in to scrub away the chocolate. I instantly felt amazing. My skin literally felt like a baby's It was so exciting. When I exited the shower, a fresh towel, panties, and my robe were waiting for me. It's like they were catering to my every need.
Once I was dressed and ready, Dana knocked and told me it was time for lunch. Perfect timing. I sat in the area across from the sauna, and she brought me this fresh avocado salad, and fresh jasmine tea - the high-quality kind with the flower. There was also raw honey and lemon. Everything was amazing! The avocado salad was perfect, with just the right amount of everything. It was filling, but light enough to not make me uncomfortable. It was seriously delicious.
After I finished eating and drinking, I headed to the facial room with Tatiana. Before beginning, she asked me a series of questions about my skin and started to look at it thoroughly. Then, she told me some of the issues I had and ways I could remedy them. Her findings aligned with what my dermatologist tells me, so I knew she knew her stuff. Then, the facial began. She spent copious time with the steamer, allowing my pores to open up, and I was SO grateful. I've been to places in the past that use steam for two seconds, then start extracting, which kills your face. This was different. It was the least painful facial I've ever had, and she took her time. After a few masks and rubs, my face came out looking super fresh.
Afterwards, I spent a few minutes looking at their amazing product selection. Tatiana helped me pick a few that would be helpful and not harmful for my upcoming trip, and I'm so glad she did.
I literally had a perfect spa day. I can't...
Read moreI was a regular customer of this salon and until recently - I was happy with everything. At first - there was a horrible and unprofessional situation with manicure master Alena, who allowed herself to be rude to the client just because client was giving wishes to manicure. And Alena began to tell me that I have “wrong attitude to my nails” - which is just beyond unacceptable for any salon and any master in my opinion. However, this person continues to work, and nothing was really done about it. I get a manicure once every two weeks and always make an appointment in advance. Yesterday they canceled my appointment an hour before the manicure, because the master was sick and my appointment was rescheduled for today, and I was fine by that. Today, half an hour before the manicure, they again canceled the appointment, while they themselves charge the client for $50 if the clients cancels the appointment in less than a day, however when they cancel appointments 2 days in a row one hour before and thirty minutes before appointment it’s OK as they think. Where is my compensation for canceling my appointment 2 times in such short term? Hmm? I was not offered replacing of the master, no time was offered, they simply offered to book new appointment for the next week. What is the reason to book an appointment 2 weeks in advance? There are different situations, I agree, but when mess ups from big to small becomes systematic, it shows the real attitude of the salon to the client. Calling yourself “the best salon in Brooklyn” - you have to match it.
P.S.: was reading over the reviews, and apparently salon employees leave reviews themself. That’s...
Read moreI recently visited a beauty salon in Brooklyn and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The ambiance of the salon was inviting and relaxing, which set the tone for a truly enjoyable experience.
I decided to try the relaxing massage and it did not disappoint. The massage therapist was highly skilled and attentive to my needs. The massage was a perfect balance of pressure and relaxation, leaving me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
I also tried the Lebel Hair Happiness treatment and it was nothing short of amazing. The treatment made my hair feel soft, silky, and incredibly healthy. I've tried many hair treatments in the past, but this one was truly unique in its ability to make my hair look and feel so healthy and vibrant.
Finally, I had my bangs cut by Natalia and I must say, she is an incredibly talented stylist. She took the time to listen to my preferences and gave me a cut that exceeded my expectations. She was patient, kind, and attentive, making sure that I was happy with the final result.
Overall, my experience at this beauty salon was exceptional. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and provided excellent service. The massage, hair treatment, and haircut were all top-notch and left me feeling amazing. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a fantastic beauty experience...
