Came here in a spring Friday evening after rain. It was so nice, quiet, and peaceful here. It’s a beautiful oasis in the city. I love how they care for the plants and flowers here. The small goldfish pond. Truly beautiful!

Ubicado a la vuelta del CBGB (actualmente tienda de ropa de Jhon Varvatos) el Albert's Garden es el lugar donde se hizo la iconica foto de portada del disco debut de Ramones. Si bien estaba cerrado cuando pase,pude sacar la foto del lugar desde afuera. La E 2 St en esa cuadra,lleva el nombre de Joey Ramone,en honor al fallecido cantante de la banda Neoyorkina.

Un pequeño parque en Bowery y 2st. Pequeño y recogido, te puedes sentar y tomar tu tiempo en el hermoso verde de su vegetación. Si vas, no alimentes a los peces del estanque. Si eres seguidor del grupo punk, Ramones, en éste lugar se hizo la foto de portada del primer álbum.

Very rarely open, but when it is, it's amazing! Two of the volunteers who run the park were there when I stopped by - John and Rolo. A native New Yorker, and retired artist, John has been living in the Lower East Side for over 40 years and has some great stories to share. Very friendly people and definitely an oasis in the heart...

It's a great shade garden on East 2nd street supported mostly by it's member/gardeners. So, if you sit for awhile remember to make a contribution in the little box affixed to a tree. If you leave your address they will even mail you an IRS contribution letter with...
