I wrote a very long review that exceeded google reviews' character limit, so I scrapped it.
Suffice it to say that I went to a different apple store, a well-regarded 3rd party Apple repair group, and due to a few mishaps, had to keep on coming back to this store. no one could figure out what was wrong with my computer and the amount of time i was wasting going back and forth to different places trying to find out almost led me to give up and chuck it, but i didn't want to bc they don't make this macbook air 11 anymore.
In the end, there was one man --Tashi, at this very Apple store--who successfully knew what was wrong with my beloved laptop when no one else did, which led to my computer being fixed and working!!!! Dude dressed normally but I spotted a tattoo peeking out from under his sleeve and I thought "I'm dealing with a secret superhero." He was so focused on the problem, clear headed and chill when we met and he immediately knew what the problem was when NO ONE else did. My computer wasn't charging right and would randomly shut down, even after getting a new battery and charger. Turns out it needed a new IOboard. And he knew it right away, when no one else knew it at all. And he was right. replaced ioboard and it's good as new :D
The real story is much longer than this but I dont have room to write, but I had to at least write this because I am beyond happy to have my computer back. I had to go back and forth to this store and interacted with enough people there to say that I was beyond impressed that everyone was so freaking cool, bright and friendly - even though i was frustrated that a few mistakes required me to go back and forth in the first place. some of them made mistakes/human error, but so did everywhere else I went. peopel here are hustling and trying to help everyone. the apple store seems to be the only busy place in the mall and no apple worker here is dawdling. I really liked interacting with each person there. In the end, this was the only place that solved my problem. Also they have a woman diligently spritzing and cleaning the whole store all the time, protecting all of us. I was impressed with her. And another dude checking your temp before you come in, which doesn't mean you don't have covid but they are sure taking it seriously and taking all precautions. I was almost done with apple but thanks to this team i'm still on the apple train.
Tip: when you see them, they will enter in a work authorization or something that you may get emailed after you get home. Ask to see it right then, before you leave, to make sure their notes are thorough enough so that the person who gets your device next is informed enough to try to fully solve the problem. THANKS Tashi and team, so much, for fixing...

Little misunderstanding but overall very helpful. You always need to enter the store to pick up, and employees please be clear about instructions. I do appreciate the measurements taken to protect everyone from covid. HOWEVER, please do not surround my mother like that. 6 people were surrounding her, it was just a misunderstanding and you did not need to collectively try and tell her that she needs to be more patient. That is the only reason why I am giving 3 stars, the misunderstanding wasn't too big of a problem but surrounding my mom was unnecessary.
Detailed Recount of What Happened:
From past experiences, this store has been really good at customer service and helping my family and I with whatever problems we had. However, the recent pandemic may have shaken everyone up a little bit. I visited the store today to pick up my repaired MacBook but there was an issue with their employees. My mom came with me for payment but she had to go to work right after. Right away, the manager came to check on us when we were lining up. We told him what we were here for and his words made it sound as if the macbook was going to be brought outside for us. We stayed on the line and when we got to the front, a female employee talked to us, asking us to step off the line and wait after finding out that someone else had already spoken to us.
At this point, my mom and I were justified to believe they will bring us the macbook and we will be paying outside (which didn't make sense to us but since we were asked to step off the line, it was the only possible conclusion). After a long wait of 20 minutes, my mom became increasingly annoyed at how long it took for them to take out a computer and bring it to us. After asking the manager once again, he asked us WHY we stepped off the line and that we were supposed to go INSIDE the store to pick it up and pay. My mom starts yelling that they were very confusing with the instructions and SIX people, including the manager and the workers in the front responsible for COVID-19 temperature testing, began loudly explaining to her that she needed to be more patient. I won't call it yelling since the employees probably just thought we couldn't follow directions and got angry, but that really did make me absolutely furious. DO NOT surround my mom like that, I apologize if she yelled but six people surrounding her was too much.
I was pretty much just a bystander and I could understand why the employees and my mom were all annoyed. I believe this was all a misunderstanding and overall the employees were still very helpful once we got...
Read moreI placed an order for an Apple Watch online to pick it up at the store. When I got there I asked about military discount. I was told The ONLY WAY TO GET MILITARY DISCOUNT IS TO GO THROUGH ID.me and I can return my current order and place another order online through appleâs website and thatâs how I could get the discount.
So I took their suggestion and went through Id.me. I asked them if I return my current order now and get the money refunded to an apple giftcard , can I reuse that right away. They said yes.
So everything was good up until that point. I even added a new iPhone SE with my new order and waited 2 hours for it to be ready to pick up. I used the money I initially paid for the apple watch which they had put back into a gift card and for the rest of it I used my credit card.
When it was time for me to pick up, the guy said, my order for the Apple Watch was cancelled. I was like WTH ! Why would it be cancelled?
I asked for a manager. He said â itâs an online order you have to call customer service to find out why the order was canceled â I was like canât you find out ? You are apple right ? And am I not in the store right now ? . He was extremely rude and said â I can either call customer service and find out why my order was canceled or I donât find the information â
I called customer service and they said â the order was cancelled from the store and the note says â cannot find the item â .
I was like WTH is goin on , you guys made me call customer service, return my original order , made me place another order online and then cancelled that order yourself and put the blame on customer service people and know when I called them it turned out , you cancelled it !
He said â he can do me a courtesy and get me the 10 percent discount on my Apple Watch but I would have to pay again and wait for my refund to come through.
So what choose did I have ? Now Iâm waiting for the money to come back to my card or on the gift card I donât know where it is going back to.
These people have me hard time because me being in the military. Otherwise why would they cancel my order I especially told them , Apple Watch is the reason I am here now . I need that for my cardio . I bought this extra I phone se in order to make it work with the Apple Watch because my iPhone 7 wasnât compatible with the Apple Watch . And they canceled the watch and made me pay twice in order to get it to today .
Terrible service,...
