My mom and I have been to this place to wait for ferry and while waiting for the ferry can see lots of boats, ships, Brooklyn, and many others. The view was wonderful because it was a nice day. Also, this is place is where people board and get off the ferry. Ferries cost $5 round trip on weekdays and Saturday/Sunday afternoons, but ride free on Saturday and Sunday mornings before 11 a.m. You also get free passage if you are a senior (65+), a child (12 and under), a NYCHA resident, or an...

It feels just as it is supposed to feel. Busy place with people coming in and out. One of the places where you can stay for some time and be perfectly alone in the crowd. Just don't use the South Ferry exit from the subway to avoid scammers. Use Whitehall St & South St exit. It's...
