Came here for lunch for the fist time today. Beautiful place. Well decorated. Excellent menu. Clean as can be. Ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala. Portions of rice and chicken were generous. Chicken perfectly tender. Flavors fantastic. A bit too spicy-hot for my taste but I guess that's subjective. I do wish the pieces had been cut smaller and better coated with more sauce though. The reason I've dinged this spot is because of the Naan. I've had this dish as well as Naan hundreds of times in my life all over the City and North-East - most notably, at just about every Indian restaurant in Murray Hill around Lexington Ave. The Naan at Inday was the weak spot and sorely disappointing. It wasn't Naan at all but commercial whole-wheat pita sprinkled with garlic. I threw it out after two bites. Better...
Read moreI walked into the restaurant, and the Central American guy said that they were closed. I only ate a brownie at Starbucks in this mall. Horrible. 🙄 I also asked if they had saar son ka saag. He said they didn’t. Now, after reading a review from a Hispanic patron, he said he ordered a SAAG. I asked him if it was on the menu!!! So why did the worker say no? And the Hispanic patron that made the review said there were only two paneer cubes. You cannot do that! That is not authentic Indian food! That is cultural appropriation and highly cheap and inappropriate to only offer 2...
Read moreGetting frustrated with this place. Had 2 good experiences the first two times i went and it's been downhill since then. The staff clearly doesn't know Indian food (which I realized day 1 to be honest) and the bowls are pure mishmash ("less is more" and "quality over quantity" doesn't resonate there). The daal, which i liked in the past, is consistently undercooked now so it's not daal since it's supposed to be creamy and a bit mushy and the saap is ridiculous with 2 cubes of cheese. Today was the last time I'm...
