Absolutely amazing playground.
This place is insane. It has everything you could possibly want. An amazing climbing structure all in wood and ropes. A really tall rock slide that seems to come down from the mountain. A shaded pergola that runs through the middle providing shade. Several swings and sprinklers.
Everything is in great shape too.
The place is great for kids all ages (even for 32 year old kids like me).
The only thing missing is a restroom.
Did I mention the place is beautiful? There are very nice plants all around, and everything is built in wood.
The craziest thing is that there are entire cities that do not have a playground as cool as this one, yet Billy Johnson Playground is not even the best playground...

At the gate, saying to kids things like he should say thank you to you as if they are teaching their children to be polite. Less international and diverse than many other central park playgrounds we have been to. The location is next to the zoo which has a lot better parents and adults based on much of my experience. Seems like a little kid's dream, so I recommend if your child is 5. However, my daughter is older than 5, therefore there's not much to do. The actual playground has only climbing and a slide.
